Continuing Medical Education credit approved for Maharishi Ayur-Veda Training Course in July - USA

Category 1 Continuing Medical Education (CME) credit is now available for physicians taking the Maharishi Ayur-Veda Health Professionals Training Course at Maharishi University of Management in Fairfield, Iowa, in July.

The course will provide instruction in the principles and practice of Maharishi Ayur-Veda Health program. Participants will develop practical skills for the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of disease that can immediately be applied in practice.

The first 32 hours of the course will be offered in two 3-day blocks:
Block 1: Saturday, July 25th through Monday, July 27th
Block 2: Tuesday, July 28th through Thursday, July 30th
Participants may choose to take Block 1 only or both Blocks 1 and 2 at this time. Blocks 1 and 2 have each been approved for 8 hours of Category 1 CME credit through our joint sponsorship with InforMED.

Who Should Attend?

All health professionals who are committed to providing optimal care for their patients, including medical doctors, osteopathic physicians, chiropractic physicians, naturopathic physicians, nurse practioners, physician assistants, and other allied health professionals.

Course faculty:

Stuart Rothenberg, MD
: Dr. Rothenberg was founding medical director of the first Maharishi Ayur-Veda clinics in the U.S. and has over 25 years of experience leading training courses in Maharishi Ayur-Veda Health program.

Robert Schneider, MD, FACC: Dr Schneider is Dean of the Maharishi College of Perfect Health and Director of the Institute of Natural Medicine and Prevention at Maharishi University of Management.

Nancy Lonsdorf, MD: Dr Lonsdorf, a Johns Hopkins-trained expert in integrative medicine, is former medical director of The Raj Maharishi Ayur-Veda Health Center and author of several books on Maharishi Ayur-Veda and women's health.

In addition, Dr Walter Moelk will be joining the faculty for Blocks 1 and 2 in Fairfield. Dr. Moelk is international deputy director for the department of health of Maharishi College of Perfect Health in the Netherlands and is one of the leading experts in Maharishi Ayur-Veda Health program. He has spent the last 15 years in Holland working closely with Maharishi Mahesh Yogi and the Ayurvedic experts in the development of Maharishi Ayur-Veda educational and clinical programs worldwide.
