On 25 April 2010 DailyMotion.com reported: In a recent interview, filmmaker David Lynch discussed the wide-ranging benefits of the Transcendental Meditation Programme, including less stress, anxiety, fatigue, anger--and more happiness and greater integration of brain functioning.
It is a joy for Global Good News service to feature this news, which indicates the success of the life-supporting programmes Maharishi has designed to bring fulfilment to the field of health.

Changes in the way the brain functions during Transcendental Meditation can actually be seen and measured using an EEG machine, Mr Lynch told interviewer David Servan Schreiber, MD, PhD, during his recent trip to France.

'When [through Transcendental Meditation] a person truly transcends, experiences this unbounded ocean within,* the full brain is engaged—total brain coherence they call it.  And it's the only experience in life that does that,' he said.

'So every time you transcend you're gaining more and more total brain coherence,' Mr Lynch said. This holistic experience benefits every area of life.

Before he began practising Transcendental Meditation, Mr Lynch said he 'had a lot of anger, a lot of worries, and kind of a strange depression,' he said. Two weeks after he learned the technique, his wife pointed out that his anger was gone. It had melted away without his even realizing it.

Transcendental Meditation helps reduce stress, anxiety, fatigue, and stress-related illness. 'You can say good-bye to them. [They] lift away without trying', he said, speaking from his own experience.

'You get more and more inner happiness, so every time you do something it's done with more happiness, more enjoyment,' he said.
