Global Country of World Peace celebrates perfect health for individuals and the whole world family

On 3 November 2010, the Global Country of World Peace celebrated the day of Dhanvantari, the day of perfect health.

Connected by video conference, groups of Maharishi Vedic Pandits at the Global Capital of World Peace at the Brahmasthan (geographical centre) of India, and in MERU, Holland performed special Vedic recitations to enliven the values of perfect health and balance in individual and world consciousness.

A highlight of the celebration was the video of an address by Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, Founder of the Global Country of World Peace, on Dhanvantari day in November 2007. In that address, Maharishi said,

'So this is the day of complete disclosure to pure knowledge. Complete disclosure to life, this is the value of health. Health in the Vedic Literature is called Svasth. Sva means Atma [the Self], and Stha means established in Atma. Healthy is he, who is established in Atma. And established in Atma means established in the two opposite values—many and one, opposite values—it is the transcendental value of Brahm [Totality, total Natural Law].'

Also featured during the 3 November 2010 celebration was Maharishi's address on this occasion in 2001. On that day, Maharishi inaugurated Maharishi College of Vedic Medicine, which he described as 'a health care system of Natural Law, that will disallow all problems and all failures, for the individual, society, nations, and family of nations'. Maharishi described this day as the day of Dhanvantari, who is that supreme exponent of Vedic health care, the supreme exponent of Ayur-Veda, with its whole range of physical existence, cosmic existence.

This system of health care, Maharishi said, has as its goal to protect life—it shouldn't be shrouded by any negativity which has caused past, present, or future. Everyone knows the expression, he said, 'As you sow, so shall you reap.'

Maharishi expressed confidence that the practice and the programme of his health care system is on the basis of what we are already, which is Natural Law. We are that evolutionary power of Natural Law contained within ourselves; we're already on that path of evolution. What we want to do is take custody of that total Natural Law value, which is now known, and is available even through modern physics as the Unified Field.

Maharishi said that this enormous organizing power, the power that governs the entire galactic universe from point to infinity, is available to us in the state of our own self-referral state of consciousness, that same Unified Field.
