Lebanon: Maharishi Spa and Ayur-Veda expert tour draw hundreds during 2010

During 2010, Lebanon saw fruitful developments in Maharishi Ayur-Veda health care programmes, including at the Maharishi Spa in Beirut and in the distribution of Maharishi Ayur-Veda products.

The Maharishi Spa in Beirut continued its successful activity during the past year, offering Ayur-Veda consultations to an average of six guests per week, for an annual total of 300 visitors.

Also significantly, a new company was established in Lebanon to import Maharishi Ayur-Veda products, and a shop has been set up in central Beirut where the products will be sold. In addition, plans are underway for the distribution of VedAroma essential oils in Lebanon and other Middle Eastern countries.

During November and December 2010, a Vaidya (expert Maharishi Ayur-Veda physician from India) toured Lebanon, during which time he gave 171 consultations. Several people from neighbouring countries, such as Saudi Arabia, had consultations during the tour, and were so satisfied with the experience that they invited the Vaidya to visit their countries. Another Vaidya tour for Lebanon is scheduled for March 2011.

Finally, a training course in Maharishi Ayur-Veda will be offered to health professionals during spring 2011 in Lebanon.

These achievements for Lebanon in 2010 were reported in continuing sessions of the 12 January 2011 celebration inaugurating Maharishi's Fourth Year of Invincibility- Global Raam Raj.*
