Maharishi Ayur-Veda for health professionals: International conference, training seminar to start 6 May, MERU, Holland

An international conference and training seminar for health professionals in Maharishi Ayur-Veda health care has been announced by Maharishi College of Perfect Health – International Training Centre for Maharishi Ayur-Veda, in MERU, Vlodrop, Netherlands.
The programme, which begins with the weekend conference, will be inaugurated in MERU on 6 May 2011.
This postgraduate training seminar has been specially designed for all those health professionals (doctors, naturopaths, and consultants) who have already undergone some training in Maharishi Ayur-Veda in the past, and who now want to update their knowledge and clinical skills to increase the effectiveness of their medical practice.
This course is also one component of a thorough and extensive training programme in Maharishi Ayur-Veda. It offers a unique opportunity to share and exchange clinical experiences with colleagues from all over Europe and the world (via video and teleconferencing) and have all questions answered by leading Maharishi Vaidyas (expert Ayurvedic physicians from India). It will be a very lively and interactive gathering of all the experienced physicians of the worldwide organizations offering Maharishi Mahesh Yogi's programmes in health care.
Some of the material, which has been developed by leading Vaidyas under the direct guidance of Maharishi, will now be presented for the first time. All health professionals are encouraged to take advantage of this special opportunity.
The course announcement also states that this course provides an opportunity for Maharishi Ayur-Veda trained physicians to come together again after some years, learn and practise together.
Dates:
Weekend Conference: 6 - 8 May
Training Seminar: 6 - 19 May
The international conference will be the first part of the training seminar, but it can also be taken independently.
Meetings will be held in Maharishi's Peace Palace in MERU as available. The course schedule will include special Vedic recitations by Maharishi Vedic Pandits in the Peace Palace. There will also be the opportunity to participate in daily group practice of Transcendental Meditation and the advanced Transcendental Meditation Sidhi Programme, including Yogic Flying.
