Maharishi Ayur-Veda health professionals training: Expert faculty to present new material

The upcoming international conference and postgraduate training seminar in Maharishi Ayur-Veda for health professionals will be given by the most experienced exponents of Maharishi Ayur-Veda, including several leading Vaidyas (expert Ayurvedic physicians from India), and other leading health professionals.

The training programme is being offered in MERU, Vlodrop, Netherlands, starting 6 May, under the auspices of Maharishi College of Perfect Health – International Training Centre for Maharishi Ayur-Veda.

The announcement states that some of the material being offered in the course, which has been developed by leading Vaidyas under the direct guidance of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, will now be presented for the first time. All health professionals are encouraged to take advantage of this special opportunity.

Topics of the conference and seminar will include:

∙ Total Knowledge lectures by Maharishi (video)
∙ The theoretical basis of Maharishi Ayur-Veda as Consciousness-Based Medicine (Unified Field Based Medicine), including the discovery of Veda in the human physiology
∙ Principles of clinical diagnosis and therapy according to the classical Ayurvedic texts (material about Sharir Kriya Vigyan, Nidan, Chikitsa, Pancha Karma developed by several Vaidyas under Maharishi's direct guidance)*
∙ Advanced pulse diagnosis (course developed by Prof Ranga Rao under Maharishi's direct guidance)*
∙ Use of herbal medicines (including Veda herbs)
∙ Patient demonstrations and case studies
∙ In-depth coverage of selected chronic disorders, including their pathophysiology and differential diagnosis
∙ Maharishi Aroma Therapy and Maharishi Light Therapy with Gems
∙ Introduction to traditional Maharishi Marma Therapy and Massage (reviewed and endorsed by Maharishi)*
∙ Presentation of best practices in Maharishi Ayur-Veda
∙ Principles of Maharishi Integrative Medicine
∙ An update on the latest research in the different approaches of Maharishi Ayur-Veda
∙ Basic Ayurvedic concepts supported by modern science (e.g. physics, biology, and genetics)
∙ Doctors trained in Pancha Karma will also have the possibility to refresh and update their understanding, including new knowledge about different treatment procedures

* These materials and courses are being presented for the first time in this seminar.
