Raja Michael Dillbeck reflects on Maharishi's achievements in the context of scientific research - Part I

Speaking 22 July 2008 on Maharishi Global Family Chat, Raja Michael Dillbeck, Raja of Invincible France for the Global Country of World Peace and leading expert on scientific research on the programmes of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, summarized Maharishi's many achievements as they relate to the field of modern science and scientific research.

Raja Dillbeck's presentation was given during the Global Guru Purnima Assembly in MERU, Netherlands.

'It was quite extraordinary,' began Raja Dillbeck, 'that when Maharishi revived ancient Vedic wisdom, which had been understood around the world as spiritual knowledge, he did so in the form of a complete science, with elements of theory, practice, and research.' Although Maharishi himself, from the level of Unity Consciousness,* experienced the wholeness of life without need for scientific explanation, out of compassion for all people, he presented his invaluable knowledge to us in the form of a complete science of life.

'In a world riddled with confusion and divisions, with sharp distinctions between disciplines of science, philosophy, religion, and politics, people could understand that the knowledge Maharishi brought from his Master, Guru Dev,** was universal in character,' continued Raja Dillbeck.

It was once believed that modern science didn't do justice to Maharishi's knowledge, since his structure of Total Knowledge comprised both intellectual understanding and confirmation through direct experience of the Transcendental Meditation Technique. However, said Raja Dillbeck, through collaboration with leaders in the field of modern science, such as world-renowned quantum physicist Dr John Hagelin,*** Maharishi has shown that the Unified Field of Natural Law found in modern physics is equivalent to the field of unity experienced in self-referral consciousness during practice of the TM Technique.

Not only is the totality of Natural Law lively within Transcendental Consciousness, but, as discovered by Maharaja Adhiraj Raja Raam under Maharishi's guidance, it is also present in the very structure of our physiologies.

'Thus, through scientific research both on the theoretical and practical level, Maharishi, with the help of leading scientists, has uncovered for us vast new realms of possibilities for life,' stated Raja Dillbeck. He went on to remind everyone that such research has taken place through 600 different studies over a span of 40 years, at 250 universities and research institutions, in 33 countries, and that it has been published in 150 journals. 'These numbers indicate the enormous scope of the benefits Maharishi's consciousness brings.'
