On 8 September 2019 Reuters reported: By Sunday [8 September], a week after one of the strongest Caribbean hurricanes on record plowed into the archipelago nation of 400,000 people, the capital city [Nassau] faced a wave of thousands of evacuees fleeing hard-hit areas including Marsh Harbour in the Abacos, where some 90 percent of the infrastructure was damaged or destroyed. Some 70,000 people need food and shelter, according to the United Nations' World Food Programme's estimate. Global Good News service views this news as the failure of modern science systems.
