On 8 August 2023 Mongabay reported:
According to the World Health Organization, 88 percent of all countries are estimated to use traditional medicine; more than 40 percent of pharmaceutical formulations are based on natural products, and many landmark drugs originated from traditional medicine. According to the Bangladesh Agricultural Research Institute, there are 722 species of medicinal plants in Bangladesh. Locals who once cut down trees are now actively planting and cultivating medicinal trees.
Global Good News service views this news as a sign of rising positivity in the fields of science and health, documenting the growth of life-supporting, evolutionary trends.
