'In the most silent avenue of one's Being, everything is a possibility' - Maharishi, 2007
12 January 2018 - Today organizations teaching Transcendental Meditation in many countries held an annual conference celebrating the achievements of the worldwide programmes founded by Maharishi Mahesh Yogi. On this day in 2007, Maharishi inaugurated a global capital of world peace at the centre of India. There a large group of experts would be established to create an influence of peace, progress, and prosperity for every nation, through their daily routine of Yoga (Transcendental Meditation and its advanced programmes) and Yagya, a timeless technology for the prevention of problems and the promotion of success and good fortune. In his inaugural address Maharishi said, 'Administrators should be competent to bestow anything to anyone who desires anything - and anything is a possibility in the transcendental, unmanifest field. In the most silent avenue of one's Being, everything is a possibility, and this is the gate of life that will be opened for everyone in the world.' (more)

A small number of people practising Transcendental Meditation can produce an orderly, harmonious influence for the whole society - Maharishi, 1975
12 January 2017 - Today organizations teaching Transcendental Meditation in many countries held an annual conference celebrating the achievements of the worldwide programmes founded by Maharishi Mahesh Yogi. On this day in 1975, Maharishi inaugurated the dawn of a new era of harmony and peace in society that would come to full fruition through the adoption of his technologies of consciousness by even a small percentage of the population. 'The personal advantages of Transcendental Meditation are so enormous,' Maharishi said, noting the growing body of scientific research validating these effects including more orderly brain functioning, reduced stress, and better health. Now researchers had found that in cities where only 1% of the population practised TM, this orderly, harmonious influence was reflected in improved social trends, particularly decreased crime. 'There are enough intelligent people in the world who will start Transcendental Meditation for their own individual benefit, even not believing in the process,' Maharishi said. But when they begin the practice, brain functioning begins to become more orderly, 'and that influence will radiate in society, and the whole society will become better and better and better'. Ten years ago, on this occasion in July 2005, Maharishi praised the knowledge of the 'Constitution of the Universe' that came from the timeless Vedic tradition. He described this as the unified field of total natural law, the laws of nature 'that are always nourishing, supporting, and always evolutionary to everyone . . . that field of total knowledge which is every aspect of life in parts, or in whole--life as a unified wholeness of all the innumerable parts, and life in terms of parts.' He also described it as 'a miraculous field of total wakefulness of total knowledge' which is being applied through programmes to enrich every area of human life. (more)

'A few individuals rising to totality are enough to raise the national consciousness to its full dignity' - Maharishi, 12 January 1978
12 January 2015 - Today the Global Country of World Peace is holding its annual conference celebrating the achievements of the worldwide programmes founded by Maharishi Mahesh Yogi. On this day in 1978, Maharishi described the mechanics of bringing enlightenment to every individual and invincibility to every nation through his Transcendental Meditation programme: 'The totality of life will be open to our awareness. This is how just a few individuals rising to totality are enough to raise the national consciousness to its full dignity. Life in the nation is according to the laws of nature, health is perfect, nature is balanced, and every individual is able to fulfil all his desires without harming the interests of any other person. In fact, his success brings success to others. The technique of Transcendental Meditation cultures individual activity in such a way that the interests of the nation as a whole are upheld.' (more)

4 October 2014 - In the continuation of an address given in Seelisberg, Switzerland, on 21 October 1977, Maharishi Mahesh Yogi explained further how invincibility can be structured on the level of whole societies and nations. This can be achieved, Maharishi said, through education that gives individuals the ability to awaken and function from the deepest level of their consciousness, which he describes as the 'home of all the laws of nature', and from there create only an evolutionary influence of coherence and harmony in society. Maharishi's historic address, 'Celebrating invincibility to every nation', was featured recently during an international conference at Maharishi European Research University (MERU) in Holland on 3 October.
