On 25 December 2004 GGN-Japan News Service reported: The Japan Peace Government in the Shimane district has inaugurated the plans for the construction of the first World Peace Palace in Japan. The ground-breaking ceremony of the first World Peace Palace in Japan was performed on 10 November 2004. The ceremony was conducted according to the principles and guidelines provided by Maharishi Sthapatya Ved International Consultation Service.
