Signs of America rising to invincibility, through the assembly of experts trained in the science and art of creating coherence through Maharishi's Technologies of Consciousness, are seen in the following reports from the press.

27 August 2006

The US-brokered cease-fire is holding nicely in Lebanon; in fact, there is a growing unity of purpose among all involved, including Israel, Lebanon, Hezbollah, the European Union, and the United Nations, to ensure that the violence does not return.

Bloomberg News: 'Israel, Hezbollah Back European Peacekeepers - Israel and Lebanon's Hezbollah group backed the deployment of as many as 7,000 European soldiers to bolster a cease-fire.'

Associated Press: 'Israel Asks Muslim States to Send Troops - The Israeli government said Saturday it is asking friendly Muslim countries to contribute troops to the UN force that will help police the cease-fire in southern Lebanon between Israel and Hezbollah. The predominantly Islamic nations of Indonesia, Bangladesh, and Malaysia have offered to participate.'

The economic news continues to be strong: The stock market has been steady this past week, the price of oil and gold has declined, and now this indicator...

Bloomberg News: 'US Treasury Prices Rally for Second Week - the biggest two-month gain since April-May 2005, which shows reduced fears over inflation.

Maharishi has said that government leaders do not actually lead; instead, they are the mouthpiece of the collective consciousness of the nation. The US and other developed nations have been roundly criticized for economic policies that benefit only the rich. Now the US Federal Reserve Bank is advocating policies designed to spread the economic benefit of global trade more equitably among all socioeconomic groups.

Washington Post: 'Fed Chief Backs Global-Wealth Sharing - 'Economic policymakers have to make sure that all segments of society feel the benefits of globalization,''Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke said Friday. 'The challenge for policymakers is to ensure that the benefits of global economic integration are sufficiently widely shared —for example, by helping displaced workers get the necessary training to take advantage of new opportunities.''

With the rise of purity in collective consciousness comes spontaneously more life-supporting behavior among the people. This can be seen both in healthier diets and more awareness about the importance of diet in promoting health.

Washington Post: 'A Veggie-Laden Lunch Line' - The Washington Post writes that vegetarian lunch lines are spreading to schools across the nation.

Health Watch: 'Vegetarian Diet Much Better for Diabetes - A study published in the journal Diabetes Care found that a vegetarian diet is better for type 2 diabetics than other diets, even the ones recommended by the American Diabetes Association.'

This is just a taste of the wonderful good news coming from the United States on the 5th day of the 2nd month of the Invincible America Course.
