Today is the 24th day of the seventh month of national consciousness rising to invincibility, as indicated by the following press reports:

4 November 2006

Het Financieele Dagblad: 'Half of citizens support easing of dismissal laws. Gap between citizens and politics grows; confidence in industry high' - Half of the Dutch feel that the dismissal legislation could be eased if this would lead to higher employment rates. Seventy per cent of the population finds it necessary to reform Holland's socio-economic structure. Industry is seen as an important factor in the improvent of Holland, and two-thirds of Dutch citizens think industry should be more envolved in solving problems of society.

Het Financieele Dagblad: 'Historic decrease in number of asylum seekers' - For the first time since 1994 there are fewer than 25,000 people seeking asylum in the reception centres. In 2001, there were 83,000.

Het Financieele Dagblad: 'Brussels considers CO2 law for cars' - The European Commissioner of Environment, Dimas, is pushing car producers to create new models that emit less carbon dioxide. He plans to propose a legal limit on carbon dioxide emissions.

De Telegraaf: 'Rotterdam as CO2 champion' - Currently, Rotterdam is one of the largest sources of CO2 emissions in this part of the world. An international think tank commission said that in the same way that Rotterdam has become one of the safest harbours in the world, it should now take up the challenge to lower CO2 emissions.

De Telegraaf: 'There is enough uranium' - If the number of atomic power stations doubles, then there will be a sufficient stock of uranium to last at least 250 years. The International Energy Agency (IEA) is advocating nuclear energy to combat further environmental pollution. About 1/3 of Europe's energy is atomic, while in Holland only four per cent is atomic. Dutch scientists are now lobbying the government, stating that this form of energy is safe and cleaner than fossil energy.

De Telegraaf: 'Dutch expect lower elderly pay, but have no worries for tomorrow' - Dutch people are more cheerful about their future in comparison to people of other European countries. In countries such as France, Germany, Sweden, England, Austria, Spain, Portugal and Italy about two-thirds of the people worry about their future. In Holland only 45 per cent of the population is worried about the future.

De Telegraaf: 'Praise for princely couple— Willem-Alexander and Maxima' - Sixty-nine per cent of respondents say that Crown Prince Willem-Alexander will be a good king, 75 per cent see Maxima as a good queen, and 75 per cent find them good representatives of our country.

Creating national invincibility

Groups of experts in Yogic Flying are engaged in creating coherent national consciousness in the Netherlands, United States, Canada, Hamsa (Hungary), and an increasing number of other nations, which are enjoying a dramatic and sustained upsurge in positive economic and social trends.

Dr Paul Gelderloos, Prime Minister of the Global Country of World Peace for the Netherlands, reports that 400 Yogic Flyers have been assembled at MERU, the Netherlands, since 12 April 2006.

Extensive research published in the world's leading scientific journals has found that the group practice of the Transcendental Meditation Sidhi Programme Yogic Flying by the square root of one per cent of a population is sufficient to reduce negative trends, including crime and violence, and to promote positive economic and social tendencies throughout society.

The cost to train and employ such a group is a small fraction of what any government spends on its military in a single day.

Maharishi's approach to invincibility is in sharp contrast to the conventional military approach. 'Our approach does not require the government to sacrifice the youth for the sake of the nation—because when the youth are killed in war, then for whom is the nation?' Maharishi said.

The harmony and progress of the human race are founded on the internal harmony and progress of every individual. No stress, no strain, no impediment, no difficulty can withstand the totally benign influence of the enlivenment of the Unified Field of Natural Law, the field of Transcendental Consciousness, the field of pure knowledge, through Maharishi's Transcendental Meditation and TM-Sidhi Programme.
