Today is the 17th day of the eighth month of Dutch national consciousness rising to invincibility, as indicated by the following press reports:

28 November 2006

Het Financieele Dagblad: 'Europe becomes serious about climate policy' - The European Commission is going to restrict the industry emissions of the greenhouse gas Carbon dioxide (CO2). To get the emission market working we need to diminish the allotted emission rights, says EU Commission Chairman Barosso.

Het Financieele Dagblad: 'Experiment with CO2-poor generation of electricity' - The German energy company EON is going to apply a new concept at their generator in Rotterdam. A technical installation will remove CO2 out of the chimney before it reaches the atmosphere.

Het Financieele Dagblad: 'Time is ripe for enforced energy savings. Environment organizations and labour parties work on plan with ceiling for energy usage of households' - After ten years of absence energy savings are back on the political agenda. The time is ripe: energy is expensive and concerns over climate change and the uncertainty of energy supply are widespread.

De Telegraaf: 'Holland on top in combating spam' - The European Commission made Holland an example for all other member states. The Dutch regulator Opta has caught spam distributors, and now fewer unwanted e-mails are received. Last year spam made up 54 per cent to 85 per cent of all e-mails. Now, 85 per cent of all spam originating from Holland has been stopped.

NRC Handelsblad: 'People on welfare lowest in ten years' - In September, 311,000 people received welfare, one-third lower than in January 1996, says Central Bureau of Statistics.

NRC Handelsblad: 'Consumer spends more' - In September, Dutch consumption was 2.3% higher than the same month last year, according to Central Bureau of Statistics. The most money was spent on durable goods, such as furniture, clothing, cars, televisions, and washing machines.

De Telegraaf: 'Dreaming about a world without bombs. Minister talks with school youth about terrorism' - Many studies show that radicalisation and terrorism has to be eradicated at the source. Thus this week ministers and highly placed government employees went out to schools to discuss terrorism threats with the youth.

De Telegraaf: 'Discount for older consumer' - The power of the older consumer is growing. The 300,000 members of an organization for the elderly receive a 15 per cent to 25 per cent discount on hundreds of grocery and personal care products.

Creating national invincibility

Groups of experts in Yogic Flying are engaged in creating coherent national consciousness in the Netherlands, United States, Canada, Hamsa (Hungary), and an increasing number of other nations, which are enjoying a dramatic and sustained upsurge in positive economic and social trends.

Dr Paul Gelderloos, Prime Minister of the Global Country of World Peace for the Netherlands, reports that 400 Yogic Flyers have been assembled at MERU, the Netherlands, since 12 April 2006.

Extensive research published in the world's leading scientific journals has found that the group practice of the Transcendental Meditation Sidhi Programme Yogic Flying by the square root of one per cent of a population is sufficient to reduce negative trends, including crime and violence, and to promote positive economic and social tendencies throughout society.

The cost to train and employ such a group is a small fraction of what any government spends on its military in a single day.

Maharishi's approach to invincibility is in sharp contrast to the conventional military approach. 'Our approach does not require the government to sacrifice the youth for the sake of the nation—because when the youth are killed in war, then for whom is the nation?' Maharishi said.

The harmony and progress of the human race are founded on the internal harmony and progress of every individual. No stress, no strain, no impediment, no difficulty can withstand the totally benign influence of the enlivenment of the Unified Field of Natural Law, the field of Transcendental Consciousness, the field of pure knowledge, through Maharishi's Transcendental Meditation and TM-Sidhi Programme.
