National Leader Dr Joseph Hayden presents inspiring news of rising invincibility in Ireland

Dr Joseph Hayden, national leader of the Global Country of World Peace in Ireland, gave an inspiring address on the Maharishi Global Family Chat on 24 January 2007. He is one of 22 national leaders recently invited to MERU, the Netherlands, to participate in a leadership training course tailored to provide them with the tools to create instant invincibility for their nations—by bringing the exact number of Vedic Pandits necessary to create an invincible shield for each country, through their Vedic performances (Yagyas) and their group practice of TM-Sidhi Yogic Flying. For Ireland the number of Vedic Pandits needed to create this effect is 250.

Over the last two weeks during this conference, the national leaders, under the guidance of His Holiness Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, have looked at every aspect of administration of the entire worldwide Transcendental Meditation movement.

Dr Hayden expressed his deep gratitude for the chance to be with Maharishi and all the Rajas (rulers or administrators) of the Global Country, commenting that it was tremendously inspiring for all the national leaders to be able to return to their respective countries with all the knowledge and tools to enlighten the whole country.

However, in the final analysis, he said, the people of Ireland wanted to provide 50 Yogic Flyers from among themselves, to bring invincibility to their own nation. Thus the target number of Vedic Pandits became 200, along with 50 Irish Yogic Flyers. Under Maharishi's guidance the plan emerged to build for 100 Vedic Pandits now, and for the other 100 later.

Dr Hayden described the enthusiastic response to this initiative by the Irish people. When this new direction for bringing Vedic Pandits to Ireland was announced a few days ago to a gathering in Dublin, spontaneous applause erupted lasting several minutes. This 'spontaneous outpouring of appreciation for the Vedic tradition' and the tremendous, heartfelt eagerness of the people to manifest it immediately was intensely moving to all present. The overwhelming positive response in Ireland included an immediate offer by a generous well-wisher of peace and national invincibility to help support the entire project.

Dr Hayden noted that the vibrant Irish spirit never was crushed, despite occupations over the centuries. It is this invincible spirit, he said, that this project will strengthen and bring back into the full glory of enlightenment in every level of national life, by creating a very dignified place for the Vedic Pandits to immediately come and establish instant invincibility for the nation. Dr Hayden concluded by giving all glory and thanks to Maharishi; His Majesty Maharaja Nader Raam, first sovereign ruler of the Global Country of World Peace; Shri Guru Dev, Maharishi's Master; and the Vedic Tradition of Masters.
