Celebrating the freedom and invincibility of the world economy

During the three-day celebration of Raam Navami, celebrated around the world by His Holiness Maharishi Mahesh and the Global Country of World Peace, starting on 27 March, Maharishi inaugurated the Global Financial Capital of New York and spoke via video teleconference from MERU, the Netherlands, of the significance of this inauguration for the world economy.

Maharishi said that what has been achieved today 'in the administration of Raja Raam (first sovereign ruler of the Global Country of World Peace) is not only that the freedom of every country has been raised to the level of invincibility, but also the world economy has been raised to invincibility. The world economy was in weak hands, and what you have established in New York today has freed the world economy from fear.

'You have opened the gates of the world's economy—a robust, a healthy, wealthy, wise, invincible world economy, which will not be behaving under fear. For a hundred or more years, since New York leads the world economy, the world economy was in the hands of those who were always afraid, afraid of losing, afraid of losing, afraid of losing.

'The world economy has been handled by those who were always trembling out of fear of loss. Now, with your onset of Raam currency, the global currency is rising to invincibility, giving political invincibility to every country,' creating integration in every country.

'The world economy will be behaving like a strong threshold, never under fear,' Maharishi said. 'Never under fear. The whole policy of the world economy will rise from fear to boldness.

'All that you have done today in New York, the establishment of that organization, which will work under the strength of honour and dignity and not under fear of loss—this is a great transformation.

'Today is the day of freedom in the world economy. Today is the day of freedom in the world politics, and this is the day when you have inaugurated Raam Raj for every country—the spirit of boldness, of freedom, of dignity, never under fear, absolutely never under fear.

'Then the progress in the world will be with high leaps and bounds, and what we want to see—and we are going to see tomorrow, very near tomorrow—is that there will be no poverty in our world. There will be richness. There will be dignity to life. So with what you are doing in New York, and what you will do from the base in New York, the world economy is going to be worthy of its value.

'The economy, the value of the economy is to be rich, and now the richness will have a ground to play, 'Not only I am rich, but my neighbour is also rich, those who are a little farther away from me, they are also rich.'

'So you have created a very beautiful, solid ground for richness to become a common reality.

'Congratulations, Prime Minister and our other leaders, go ahead with confidence, launch a programme to eliminate poverty in the world.
