30 March was the 30th day of the ninth month of Canadian national consciousness rising to invincibility, as indicated by the following press reports:

30 March 2007

The Toronto Star - House prices remain strong: Report (29 March 2007) Canada's housing market got off to a strong start in 2007 with average prices rising in all major markets, according to Royal LePage Real Estate Services. It says a combination of consumer confidence, moderately low interest rates and improved affordability led to greater sales in the first quarter.

From a National Post report on this: Home prices for the first three months of this year rose almost 12% from a year ago in a clear sign that market still has legs, says one of the country's leading real estate companies. 'The strength of last year's housing market has carried into the first quarter of 2007, creating a robust market...' said Phil Soper, chief executive of Royal LePage.

Bloomberg News - Canada's economy expanded in January for fourth month (30 March 2007) Canada's economy expanded for a fourth straight month in January. Canada's pace of expansion may have doubled the rate of the last quarter of 2006, economists say. 'Moderate further gains in February and March should give us a 3 percent rate for the first quarter,' said Ted Carmichael, chief Canadian economist for J. P. Morgan Securities in Toronto. Canadian employers added more than 100,000 new jobs in the first two months of this year, a trend that likely continued into March, according to a survey of economists. Construction remains buoyant, advancing for an eighth straight month, gaining 0.5 per cent in January. The Bank of Canada has said that the economy is at full capacity.

Canadian Press - Overall economic activity begins year positively with cross-sector growth (30 March 2007) There was growth in both the goods and services industries as economic activity increased 0.1 per cent in January. The energy sector saw a robust gain and non-metallic mineral mines gained 2.4 per cent. Construction, forestry, and financial services also increased. Non-durable goods manufacturing gained 0.4 per cent, while wholesale trade edged up.

Reuters Canada - Dollar jumps to 3-month high (30 March 2007) The Canadian dollar shot to it highest level in three months on Friday. Shaun Osborne, chief currency strategist at TD Securities in Toronto, said the currency should continue to appreciate for the medium term, as strong economic signals prompt investors to rethink previous expectations of interest rate cuts.

Canadian Press - Ontario looking to join with southern states to fight climate change: Premier (30 March 2007) Premier Dalton McGuinty says Ontario is looking at joining forces with the southern states to fight climate change. McGuinty says Ontario is interested in joining several American climate change partnerships which include California, New Mexico, and Arizona. California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger says he welcomes Ontario's interest. He says the science is clear and political leaders everywhere have to work together to combat global warming. New York State Governor Eliot Spitzer adds global warming doesn't recognize international boundaries and he would welcome the chance to work with Ontario to fight climate change.

The Globe and Mail - Green housing project to cut emissions (30 March 2007) A new development in Victoria, Dockside Green, is the first in North America to not only reduce its greenhouse-gas emissions from energy use to zero, but also cut emissions from energy consumed by its neighbours—with a plant that turns wood waste into gas to provide heat and hot water, with energy enough left over to sell to buildings nearby. This will reduce the use of conventional fuels and cut greenhouse-gas emissions by 1,823 tonnes annually. The wood waste plant produces no greenhouse gases; Dockside Green is the first residential project in North America to use this technology. Dockside Green will eventually encompass 26 residential, retail, and office buildings, co-developed by VanCity and Windmill Developments. Dockside Green is recognized 'as state of the art for North America as far as green buildings are concerned,' said Ian Bruce, climate-change specialist at the David Suzuki Foundation.

Canadian Press - Nunavut legislation enforces use of Inuktitut in schools, businesses, offices (30 March 2007) The government of Nunavut has introduced language legislation that would enforce the use of Inuktitut in public places from restaurants to schools to offices. 'What we'd like to do here is protect the Inuit language for the future,' said Louis Tapardjuk, minister of Culture, Language, Education and Youth. 'More than half of Canada's 30,000 Inuit still consider it their mother tongue and it's the language spoken most often at home for 43 per cent of them', the article states, 'but those figures are declining and the young are least likely to be fluent'. The Inuit Language Protection Bill is intended to ensure French, English, and Inuktitut remain on an equal footing by mandating the use of Inuktitut for signs and services. Tapardjuk acknowledges that covers almost everything in Nunavut. The bill also maintains Inuit children have a right to be educated in Inuktitut, despite the shortage of curriculum materials in that language.

These are a few of the news reports reflecting Canada's rising invincibility from the growing Yogic Flying groups across Canada and the Invincible America Assembly at Maharishi University of Management and Maharishi Vedic City, USA.
