Recent weeks have seen steady progress in the expanding programmes of the Global Country of World Peace in Norway.

A large Maharishi Peace Colony is planned on land forty minutes north of Oslo. This land consists of beautiful forests and open fields, which have already been free from chemical fertilizers for more than one year, providing the possibility for Maharishi Vedic Organic Agriculture in the future.

Following Dr Deans' talks, a director of a major college in the area astutely remarked that he 'now understood that Transcendental Meditation is the trend of the time'.

In the field of health, Maharishi Ayur-Veda products have secured a firm footing in the Norwegian market, with sales in five hundred shops specializing in natural health care products.
