7 April was the 7th day of the tenth month of Canadian national consciousness rising to invincibility, as indicated by the following press reports:

7 April 2007

The National Post - BMO touts strength (7 April 2007) Douglas Porter, deputy chief economist at BMO Capital Markets, released a report outlining how the Canadian economy continues to perform solidly. The report notes Canada's leading indicator, a compendium of forward-looking data, has been blithely sailing along and that Canada has been marshalling strength on several fronts. Even economists who had been more bearish on the Canadian economy are now taking a positive view. Stephane Marion, at National Bank in Montreal, said first quarter job creation saw its best quarterly performance since early 2002. 'The Canadian domestic economy remains extremely well supported as we head into Q..'

The Toronto Star - More neighbourhoods have $1 million homes (7 April 2007) Homes in some Toronto neighbourhoods are going for more than $1 million for the very first time. Canada's housing market got off to a strong start in 2007, according to a first quarter report. Gino Romanese, senior vice-president of Royal LePage, says the first quarter results were surprising because that time of year is traditionally slower in the real estate market. 'We had a very strong end to 2006. Some of that carried over to 2007. The year ended on a high note and the momentum carried forward.' Romanese says the year is off to a better-than-expected start and that bodes well for the rest of 2007. 'It looks like another great year shaping up,' he says.

The Globe and Mail - B.C. hoping to be gateway for Asia to U.S. heartlands (5 April 2007) International Trade Minister David Emerson said the $1 billion Pacific Gateway infrastructure project in BC is of 'critical national significance' because it will allow Canada to position itself as the best trade route to the US heartlands. '.... the global centre of gravity is shifting toward Asia—toward China, India, South Korea and Japan. This presents Canada with an enormous, almost generational, opportunity,' said Emerson, who recently returned from a trade mission in which he promoted the project in China, and embarks in two weeks on a similar trip to India.

Canadian Press - B.C. will proceed with cost recovery suit against tobacco companies (5 April 2007) British Columbia hopes to be in court next year in its long battle to recover health care costs from big tobacco companies, after the Supreme Court of Canada rejected an appeal from foreign tobacco companies. 'We've always taken the position that because they sold and promoted their products in our market, (resulting) in damage to our citizens, that we have the right to legislate against their conduct,' said BC Attorney General Wally Oppal.

Sun Media - Green giant? (5 April 2007) It's not feasible for companies or individuals to believe that the economy and ecology have nothing to do with each other, says Pierre Karl Peladeau, president and chief executive of Quebecor Inc. 'We inherited a clean environment from our parents and it's our duty to ensure that our children inherit one from us.' To that end, Peladeau's printing and media giant announced that books published by Group Livre Quebecor Media will be printed on recycled paper made of 100% post-consumer fibre. 'As the largest publisher and distributor of French-language books in Quebec and Canada, and one of the largest book printers in the world, we have a duty to do our part and do the right thing for the environment.' He also announced that Quebecor-owned media outlets will expand editorial content related to environment issues—in newspapers, magazines, online, and on TV.

CBC News - Sask. gets $44M from Ottawa for CO2-cutting projects (5 April 2007) Saskatchewan projects aimed at cutting pollution and putting less carbon dioxide in the air will be getting $44 million, the federal and provincial environment ministers announced. The federal money is part of a $1.5 billion trust fund set up to help provinces and territories reduce greenhouse gas emissions, smog, and pollution. Saskatchewan Environment Minister John Nilson said the federal money will help support the province's long-term goal of getting one-third of all its energy from renewable sources and that the government will reveal more about its green strategy over the next few weeks.

CanWest News Service - Canada one of the fortunate countries, according to damning climate change report (6 April 2007) 'While there are big changes coming in Canada, we are very well equipped to deal with them,' said Ian Burton, scientist emeritus with Environment Canada and one of the lead authors of a just-released United Nations report on the world's changing climate. The report is the second of four this year by the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, a United Nations network of close to 2,000 scientists. Burton is one of many looking for 'enlightened' leadership and action from Ottawa. 'I think there is more reason to hope as governments and people are waking up to the problem and starting to deal with it seriously,' Burton said.

These are a few of the news reports reflecting Canada's rising invincibility from the growing Yogic Flying groups across Canada and the Invincible America Assembly at Maharishi University of Management and Maharishi Vedic City, USA.
