Maharishi's address to the David Lynch Weekend, Part II

Maharishi Mahesh Yogi continued his address to the group assembled at Maharishi University of Management in Fairfield, Iowa, USA for the David Lynch Weekend, by going deeper into the logistics for creating invincibility for every nation. He said, 'A nation really enjoying freedom and freedom can be enjoyed by a nation only when everyone is happy. Otherwise in freedom ... [people] can do wrong things here and there and if they do wrong things they suffer. So there has to be a collective effect that no one can do wrong.'

He said that by the grace of his Master Guru Dev, His Divinity Swami Brahmananda Saraswati, Jagad Guru Shankaracharya of Jyotir Math, Himalayas, and the Tradition of Vedic Masters he has 'those techniques which I have tried with individuals and which have worked' and now he is applying these techniques on a collective level by gathering groups of Yogic Flyers to create a strong influence of world peace that will affect large populations.

For example, in Germany, which is a country with a significant population, only 900 individuals are needed to participate. He also mentioned that the number of Yogic Flyers for France will be 700, and for Switzerland and Belgium, 300 each.

Maharishi pointed out that he is not asking the citizens of a nation to participate in this programme as an act of charity—he said that charity is a fanciful idea but practically speaking very few are able to perform acts of charity. So the Yogic Flyers will be employed and compensated very generously.

'I'm going to give them more than the standard of that country, give them that relaxed life which is needed for total mind to function. It's an atmospheric influence also, so those people who are going to take up this job of creating coherence in the collective consciousness of their country they are going to be much wealthier now; it's not a matter of charity.'

Along those lines, one result of these groups creating coherence for the nation is that it will offer protection to all the citizens for their monetary wealth.

Maharishi mentioned that the country itself might not be immediately be responsive to the plan if they are not able to imagine that invincibility is a possibility. In such an instance, wherever necessary, Maharishi Vedic Pandits from India, who are very plentiful and skilled in Yogic Flying and Vedic Recitation, will be employed in these European nations to hasten the blossoming of positivity that penetrates into every aspect of national life so powerfully and seemingly miraculously.

'So that collective influence, collective positive influence is like the daylight where light is everywhere where one sees, one knows everything, there is nothing in darkness.... So let's create a few people in every country to begin to practise this Yogic Flying. It's very easy to do...'
