Maharishi's message at the Second Annual David Lynch Weekend: 'You are destined to enjoy.'

Maharishi concluded his address to the Second Annual David Lynch Weekend held 25-28 May at Maharishi University of Management in Fairfield, Iowa, USA by saying that through groups of Vedic Pandits and Yogic Flyers, irresistibly the time of Kali Yuga—the time of sickness and suffering—will come to an end.

He said that there has been so much suffering in times past, with people becoming religious with the idea that suffering is a part of life. Maharishi humorously recollected that in the beginning days of the Transcendental Meditation Movement, some people were offended by his teaching that life is bliss and discounted his message because they were so convinced that according to their religious faith, life is suffering.

Maharishi told the group, 'So it's not a matter of talking anymore ... it's the talking of producing the effect and I'm going to do it; it's a good thing. It's good that the scientists and artists have joined me; they have understood. You are celebrating David Lynch Weekend; I congratulate you in whatever name you do it, but whether you do it or not, you are destined to enjoy, you are destined to enjoy, you are destined to enjoy. It's a very good thing ... you don't deserve suffering.

'... and you've heard the voice of all the scientists and artists and businessmen and all, you are going to produce the world so beautiful, absolutely so beautiful, you're going to change the face of politics now. You are going to change the face of economics of the world, of education in the world, of agriculture in the world.'

Referring to the effect of the groups of Yogic Flyers who are gathering to bring invincibility to 35 more countries through their group practice of Transcendental Meditation and its advanced practice, the TM-Sidhi Programme including Yogic Flying, Maharishi said, 'Within this year I think these 35 countries, which have the best economy—they are going to blossom in this field of invincibility, invincibility. Invincibility is a dream of all the ages. Invincibility is a dream of all the ages. Dream is coming to be true. Be ready to enjoy.'

Maharishi said, 'Times have changed, that's all. Times have changed. As if all the nights were very dark and now an electric powerhouse has been created and there'll be light everywhere, and it has started to be everywhere, like that.

'So (Dr Hagelin and Dr Morris), bless the world in every way—the world wants to enjoy and you put them on the road to enjoyment. All peace, prosperity, happiness, invincibility. All glory to Guru Dev and Vedic Tradition of Masters. (The Vedic Tradition of Masters) has been there and will always be there, and now this heaven is dawning.

'Just enjoy—the time has come for it ... Jai Guru Dev.'
