Progress in Minnesota and the invincibility in the Caribbean

Dr Graham Defreitas, Raja of Minnesota and the Caribbean Nations for the Global Country of World Peace, said that they are still feeling the good influence in Minnesota by people who went to the David Lynch weekend in May at the Maharishi University of Management. Some were inspired to learn Maharishi's Transcendental Meditation Programme. Further, educators are now coming forward interested in implementing Maharishi's Consciousness-Based Education in their schools; so presentations are being planned for them.

Dr Defreitas also reported that a recent very successful Vaidya tour offering Maharishi Ayur-Vedic pulse assessment health care consultations will be followed by another tour later this summer. The Maharishi Vedic Health Spa has been reopened at their Invincibility Center's storefront location, with improved sound-proofing, window displays, and an auspicious fountain; and negotiations are progressing to acquire 40 acres of land for a Maharishi Vedic Hospital, Invincibility School, and other Vastu buildings.

Twelve annual celebrations are planned—some seasonal, some for special days in the Vedic calendar, and others for the founding of the state, the governor's birthday, Dr John Hagelin's birthday, the uniting of the Minnesota Chippewa tribe of Native Americans, and the date the TM-Sidhi Programme was first taught in the state.

Finally, Dr Defreitas noted an upcoming tour on Consciousness-Based Education featuring Dr Alaric Arenander and Dr David Leshamteng for most of the 12 English-speaking Caribbean countries in his domain. They will be speaking to ministers, educators, and the general public; demonstrating EEG coherence generated by Maharishi's Transcendental Meditation Programme; and encouraging people to set up invincibility schools in their areas.

Dr David Leshamteng, National Leader and Chief Minister of the Global Country of World Peace for Trinidad and Tobago, said they will have over 400 people practising Maharishi's Transcendental Meditation and TM-Sidhi Programme in a few months. He also itemized some signs of rising invincibility that have taken place there since the number of practitioners of the TM-Sidhi Programme rose to meet the super-radiance number for Trinidad and Tobago. The Minister of National Security reported that there was less kid-napping and less violent crime. The Minister of Agriculture announced the beginning of organic farming throughout the country; and the Minister of Health expressed the desire to start an alternative medicine arm of that ministry and to open hospitals using only alternative medicine.

Maharishi University of Management and a 100,000-member Hindu Credit Union are signing a memorandum to give M.U.M. the use of their facility, with plans for its staff and students to learn Maharishi's TM and TM-Sidhi Programme. They have offered to use their 20,000-circulation, weekly newspaper, their radio station, and their new television station to advertise and teach about Maharishi's programmes.
