Speaking from Sydney, Australia, Dr Ashley Deans, director of Maharishi School of the Age of Enlightenment in Fairfield, Iowa, USA, said, 'Last year people were very receptive. This year they are actually responding and making real progress in creating Invincibility Schools and adding Consciousness-Based Education into existing schools.'

In Melbourne more and more students are enrolling in their Invincibility School. Next year the school will expand to include high school, when the students can learn the TM Sidhi Programme including Yogic Flying and help create invincibility for their country.

As a result of Dr Deans' lectures, people are learning Maharishi's Transcendental Meditation Technique throughout the country and seeking Consciousness-Based Education opportunities for their children. In Adelaide, a Maharishi Invincibility School for girls will be built on a beautiful property near town, opening its first classes in February 2009.

After a lecture to business leaders in Sterling, one Rotary Club official said it was, 'a watershed experience. We have been living in an information age, and now we are in an age of consciousness.' The mayor of an Aborigine city gave his '110 per cent support' and another such leader said that until hearing this knowledge he felt his people had only one generation left. 'Now,' he said, 'I have hope!'

One delegate from the civil rights arm of the government responsible for the indigenous people set up a meeting with government leaders who are, Dr Deans emphasizes, 'absolutely desperate for a solution' to their problems'. In a later meeting in the Outback with the people themselves, the area's Elder sat silent throughout the meeting. At the end she said, 'This is something we want. We should have this in our school of 200, and we should put it in our correction centre' (that currently houses 50 boys). Thinking with the group of how to create groups of Yogic Flyers, she added, 'This is what our culture used to do.' Then people suggested teaching these techniques in their old peoples' home, and then that the whole town of 2,000 should learn. Local teachers of the Transcendental Meditation Programme will return next week to arrange how everyone can learn the Transcendental Meditation Technique. Noting that only 450 Yogic Flyers are needed, Dr Deans concluded, 'It may be that the Aboriginal people will be what brings Australia to Invincibility.'
