Reconstruction in Vedic America

Dr Jonathan Lipman, Director of the Institute of Maharishi Vedic Architecture, and Chief Architect for Maharishi Vedic City, Iowa, USA, gave an overview of a new project called Cypress Village and the Invincibility Tower currently under construction on the Maharishi University of Management campus in nearby Fairfield. These cities are located in the central domain of the Global Country of World Peace in the USA known as Vedic America.

Cypress Village, he explained, is a 144-acre project located between Fairfield and Maharishi Vedic City, slated to create housing and a Maharishi Sthapatya Veda development for those on the Invincible America Assembly. There will be 146 apartments and houses; twelve acres for commercial development; 30 acres for parks and trails; and 50 acres for an organic farm. Everything will be located nearby so that necessities are all within walking distance. The homes will be very energy-efficient, with sustainable features built into them. Plans are to use permaculture, which includes growing food there on the site so that food will be completely fresh. This project will use first-rate, sustainable precepts set down by LEED—Leadership and Education in an Environment Design—and they are looking forward to beginning building in the fall.

Dr Lipman pointed out that leaders of the Global Country of World Peace have asked that 'all the developers should build Maharishi Sthapatya Veda houses around Maharishi University of Management'. Cypress Village will certainly fulfil this request, providing proper, life-supporting housing in an enlightened neighbourhood/development design.

The first Maharishi Tower of Invincibility is under construction between the two Golden Domes on the Maharishi University of Management campus. At the time of Dr Lipman's presentation, the marble cladding was nearly complete. The cupola was ready to go on the roof; and marble plaques would be in the middle of the tower to honour those responsible for the Invincible America Assembly (the Tower was t be inaugurated on 29 July in the grand global celebration of Guru Purnima).
