During the global celebration of Guru Purnima by the Global Country of World Peace on 29 July 2007, Raja Harris Kaplan expressed his appreciation—on behalf of all the people of his domains, India and Canada—for the celebration of Guru Dev on Guru Purnima, for the Vedic Tradition, and for all that Maharishi Mahesh Yogi has done to train many Vedic Pandits for the performance of Yagya to create Sat Yuga around the world.

Raja Harris said that this Guru Purnima was such a beautiful day; everyone has been reflecting on the perfection of the Vedic Tradition, and specifically the perfection of the Vedic Calendar, which provides such beautiful seasonal celebrations, performances, and routines, that gently align the individual and society with the eternal cosmic reality, aligning us to Total Knowledge, to the Veda, to the light and Will of God.

'But amongst all these beautiful Vedic celebrations,' said Raja Harris, 'all of us most deeply cherish Guru Purnima, the beautiful Full Moon day [in July], when the Tradition fortunately gave us this chance to most tenderly luxuriate in and express in Puja* our amazement, our bliss, our humility, our honour, and our greatest good fortune at having as our Guru [spiritual teacher], the supreme embodiment of inexpressible perfection in human life.

'All of us, all around the world, are feeling so fulfilled, so blessed today, for our connection to Maharishi and to Guru Dev**, and through them to the unbroken, unbreakable, invincible, Vedic Tradition of Masters.

'As Maharishi said earlier today, we feel the full glory of the full moon shining on all of us today and on every part of the world, and I think that all of us felt so nourished and honoured for Maharishi to share these beautiful expressions that he offered to Guru Dev. In response to that, we all humbly offer to Maharishi, all that we are—all our silence to whatever degree we have [it] and all our action in that silence to whatever degree we have.

'All of us all around the world feel so protected under the sheltering umbrella of Maharishi's love and guidance and we rejoice in this divine programme that the Finance Minister [of the Global Country of World Peace, Dr Benjamin Feldman] has just been laying out for us, for all the 192 countries of the world—a programme for the whole world to rise to happiness, peace, prosperity, and fulfilment.'

Raja Harris said that we take great comfort in the expression Tatha Raja Tatha Praja, ''As is the Raja, the ruler, so are the ruled,'' because we know that the administrator of the Global Country of World Peace, Maharaja Nader Raam, is always maintaining himself in that beautiful, perfect state of silent administration. We take pride in his integrated, self-referral consciousness; and we note keenly his life of eternal silence, his life of eternal Being, characterized by bliss.

'All around the world today,' Raja Harris said, 'beautiful ceremonies are being performed by the Founders of Invincibility breaking ground for the Towers of Invincibility that will permanently mark this transition. But in fact, we could say that this ground-breaking ceremony they're doing . . . is really the second ceremony that they're performing today.

'The first ceremony is that, starting in New Zealand, [and moving on] to China and Japan and India, has been the ''polishing'' of each individual's ''Tower of Invincibility'' within themselves, doing their beautiful Transcendental Meditation Programme, just as given to them by Guru Dev.

'The laying of the cornerstone for that personal tower of invincibility was done by all of us when we began practising Maharishi's Transcendental Meditation 20 or 30 or 40 or 50 years ago. And now all these global towers of invincibility are being so beautifully polished all around the world.'

Raja Harris said we are so beautifully established in the value of developed consciousness, we could say the cornerstone laying was done when we learned to meditate, and 'the ground-breaking ceremony for that, was when Maharishi took his first step from Uttar Kashi [in the Himalayas] to go to Rameshwaram [a holy city on the east coast of India]. We rejoice in that first gentle step today, and see in the power of that quiet first step, the breaking of the ground for Sat-Yuga [the Age of Enlightenment or time of 'Heaven on Earth' now dawning].'

Raja Harris said it was just a wonderful joy today to hear the thinking of the Finance Minister of the Global Country of World Peace, Dr Benjamin Feldman, about these ideas of administration: the forty-eight Brahmanand Saraswati Nagars [cities named after Guru Dev], each [associated with] the twelve Jyotirlingas [special holy spots of Vedic India].

'As you were saying it, I was thinking of that perfection in administration which has only come about in the past 50 years, which we are going to look back on in astonishment, because in thinking about these beautiful places where Pandits will be practising Yoga and Yagya, I think it's important to remember today what has been accomplished, as a vision of what's going to happen in the world in the next weeks and years.

'In 1979, when Maharishi first began looking to do Yagyas to purify world consciousness, leaders of his Movement went out all around the Delhi area to find 121 Vedic Pandits who could properly do Rudrabhishek***. All that could be found at that time was about 40 or 50 Pandits.

'In 1991, in the centre of India, when Maharishi sent one of his leaders, Dr Girish Varma [Director-General of the Maharishi World Capital of Peace at the Brahmasthan (geographical centre-point) of India] to go and do a special Rudrabhishek, and hoped to find 11 Pandits, at that time there were about eight or nine of sufficient quality to merit doing Maharishi's Yagya programme. Girish mentioned to me yesterday that they had a special celebration for a leader of the Movement, and in one hour in that same town, 121 beautiful Pandits came, with many thousands more in the region all perfectly trained. It's an unfathomable accomplishment, the likes of which the world hasn't seen. It's gratifying at the highest level and it makes us realize what has been avoided.

'The motto of Guru Dev we always heard is Heyam duhkham anagatam, ''Avert the danger that has not yet come''—to do that on a cosmic level takes cosmic organization. That's what Maharishi has been doing and that's what we celebrate today in celebrating the dawn of invincibility for every nation.

'All of Raja Raam's Ministers and Rajas are filled with the bliss of the sense inside themselves of the absolute certainty of the power of silence moving within itself, and the unchangeable direction of time, all with Maharishi's blessings. We don't know what words to say on Guru Purnima. We don't know how to express properly this sense of extremely blissful honour, so we retreat again into all the expressions we've had, even from Maharishi, and hope they suffice.

'On behalf of all the 1.1 billion people of India, the 33 million people of Canada, and on behalf of my family, Jai Guru Dev.'

*Puja: traditional Vedic performance of gratitude

** Guru Dev: Maharishi's Master, His Divinity Brahmanand Saraswati, Jagatguru Shankaracharya of Jyotir Math, Himalayas, to whom Maharishi gives all credit for the total Vedic wisdom of Natural Law.
