Portugal: New wave of interest in Transcendental Meditation

Dr David Lynch, celebrated filmmaker and leading proponent of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi's peace-creating technologies, visited Portugal this month as part of a tour throughout Europe.
On 17 November Dr Lynch inaugurated the Invincible Portugal University which will offer Consciousness-Based Education to its students and will create invincibility for the nation.
In addition, Dr Lynch spoke to a packed auditorium of 600 people at the European Film Festival held 8-17 November in Estoril, Portugal. Dr Lynch discussed the benefits of the Transcendental Meditation Technique including its influence on artistic creativity. The audience was fascinated by his talk and asked many questions.
The event was well publicized by the national media, and has generated the biggest wave of interest in Transcendental Meditation in 20 years.
