A review of Maharishi's teaching and achievements - Part III

Dr Peter Swan, Minister of Communication of the Global Country of World Peace, recently summarized the achievements of His Holiness Maharishi Mahesh Yogi.

Continuing his talk, featured in Part I and Part II of this article, Dr Swan concluded that Maharishi's achievements are unprecedented.

'Never before has anyone brought out the simplicity, the naturalness, the effortlessness of meditation and of Yogic Flying.

'Never has anyone brought out the Apaurusheya Bhashya* (uncreated commentary) of Rk Veda. Never has anyone inspired the discovery of the human physiology as the expression of Veda and Vedic Literature.

'Never has anyone inspired the discovery of the structure of the Unified Field as the expression . . . of Veda.

'Never has anyone before brought out Consciousness-Based Education the way Maharishi brought it out—for everyone in the whole world. Never before has anyone brought out Maharishi Ayur-Veda, Maharishi Jyotish and Yagya, Vedic Agriculture, Maharishi Sthapatya Veda, and Vedic Administration as Unified Field-Based disciplines, as Maharishi has done.

'We don't know of anyone who has saved the Vedic families from destruction—creating the groups of Vedic Pandits, training them over so many years, and restoring to them their hereditary, blissful, [tradition of] Total Knowledge.

'Never before has anybody created groups of Yogic Flyers in every country to create invincibility for the nation and peace for the whole world family. And never before has anybody brought out the significance of the Brahmasthan (auspicious central area) of the country for Vedic Administration—administration through silence.

Dr Swan continued, 'Never before has anybody created a world plan to bring about enlightenment for every individual, invincibility for every nation, and peace for the whole world. And not just brought out the plan, but . . . attended to every aspect, every detail of that plan.

'So in this we want to honour Maharishi', Dr Swan concluded, 'We want to try in our small way to bring out some of the inestimable greatness of His Holiness Maharishi Mahesh Yogi—the most illustrious in all the galaxy of Vedic Saints, Sages, and Maharishis.

'Never before has anyone done the things that Maharishi has done. And Maharishi's main work was done almost completely in secret: that was to enliven the causal level for world peace, to enliven the connection between the individual consciousness, the collective consciousness, and Total Natural Law,' for the benefit and the enlightenment of the entire world family, Dr Swan said.
