A special Capital of the Global Country of World Peace in West Virginia

Speaking on a recent Maharishi Global Family Chat, Raja Bob LoPinto, Raja of South Africa and the Philippines, reported that he has been working on a Maharishi Purusha Programme Capital of the Global Country of World Peace for the western hemisphere, in the mountains of West Virginia, USA.

Maharishi Mahesh Yogi has explained that Purusha means the Self, the quality of infinite silence of the Unified Field of Natural Law. The Maharishi Purusha Programme was designed by Maharishi for single men who wish to dedicate themselves fully to the most rapid pace of evolution possible and creating world peace. This is accomplished through the extended group practice of the Transcendental Meditation and Transcendental Meditation Sidhi Programme, including Yogic Flying, along with activity dedicated to the fulfilment of the many programmes of Maharishi's worldwide organizations.

'Purusha is a very ideal programme . . . . It is a wonderful programme for the individual to harness the full creative potential of Natural Law and use it to enjoy bliss. World peace is a by-product of it. Heavenly life on earth is a by-product of it.'—Maharishi

Raja LoPinto said they will be completing arrangements for the land for this special project very soon. They are finalizing the building designs and asking for builder proposals for the construction. 'It's all nearing a conclusion,' he said.

Aerial mapping for the property has begun so that there is proper photography to enable them do all the engineering. Raja LoPinto said that Maharishi spent many months and countless hours working with them as they searched for land and worked through the building designs. 'All of this input we're carefully incorporating into the project,' he said.

Maharishi also worked very closely to create the team working with them in West Virginia on this project—an entire family of Teachers of Transcendental Meditation who, over the last 40 years, developed a large resort in West Virginia. 'We are very blessed to have their family working very closely with us on this very beautiful piece of land that will soon be the home of our dear Purusha,' Raja LoPinto concluded.
