Poland looks to a brighter future

Raja Willem Meijles, Raja of Poland for the Global Country of World Peace, enjoyed a recent visit to Poland where he met with local teachers of Maharishi's Transcendental Meditation Programme and many supporters of the Global Country of World Peace.

'Our goal is to quickly establish Invincibility Schools to offer Consciousness-Based Education, and to set up Maharishi Peace Colonies* around the country', he said. 'Large groups in schools and communities practising Maharishi's Transcendental Meditation and the TM-Sidhi Programme together will create an indomitable influence of coherence and positivity for Poland.'

Raja Willem described Poland's central location and influence in Europe, sharing its borders with several countries—Germany, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Ukraine, Belarus, and Lithuania. 'Poland rising means the whole of Europe will benefit,' he said.

'Poland is not only in the heart of Europe, but the Polish people have a great and warm heart', Raja Willem said. 'They have had a troubled and difficult past, but we discussed the need to look to the future and use Maharishi's coherence-creating programmes to take maximum advantage of all the new opportunities coming to them.'

Raja Willem found the Polish people very receptive to these programmes, and observed that this is a great time of new beginnings for Poland. Recently, large numbers of Polish citizens who had previously emigrated to other parts of the EU for better prospects have been returning due to the dramatic increase in standards of living for Poles in their own country, as well as sharp increases in wages.

Raja Willem presented Consciousness-Based Education to teachers from a government institute whose focus is to improve the quality of teaching in Poland. They were very inspired to utilize Consciousness-Based Education and interested in informing other teachers about the programmes. There are also good prospects for establishing Invincibility Schools near the capital city, Warsaw, and possibilities for a Maharishi Peace Colony in the south near Krakow, the second largest city.

Dr Wojtek Skalski, Deputy Minister of Architecture for the Global Country of World Peace, accompanied Raja Willem on his visit to Poland and presented the latest plans for Peace Colonies built according to Maharishi Sthapatya Veda. 'These will be Fortune-Creating Villages offering a new quality of life; unique villages with facilities to enhance every aspect of daily life,' Dr Skalski said.
