Reports from the Global Mother Divine Organization during Guru Purnima: Trinidad and Tobago

The National Director of the Global Mother Divine Organization* of Trinidad and Tobago reported on her nation to the global Guru Purnima Assembly of the Global Country of World Peace, which was held in MERU, Netherlands, from 18-24 July 2008.

Showing slides with her presentation, the National Director said that they 'think of Trinidad and Tobago as two lotus flowers'. Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, Founder of the Global Country of World Peace, visited the country in 1966 for the first and only time.

Later a group of ladies started the Ladies Association of the Age of Enlightenment. The Global Mother Divine Organization was legally established in the country on 14 July 2008.

The ladies' wing of the Global Country of World Peace has been functioning all this time, but is just now becoming formally established. 'We have always been involved in every project in the country and we have been a part of creating the invincibility project in our country and securing the invincibility of Trinidad and Tobago,' the National Director said.

The National Director expressed their deep gratitude 'to Maharishi, Guru Dev**, the Holy Vedic Tradition and all our wonderful Raj Rajeshwaris and the Mother Divine Programme***, to Maharaja Adhiraj Raja Raam, and to everyone in our global family who has already helped to bring the world to this high state of evolution, and all Maharishi's wonderful programmes to fruition.'
