Mayor from Israel visits Maharishi University of Management and Maharishi Vedic City

Raja Kingsley Brooks, Raja of the Global Country of World Peace for Invincible Israel, South Korea, Nepal, Georgia, North Korea, Afghanistan, Marshall Islands, and Micronesia, spoke recently on Maharishi Global Family Chat about the very successful visit by a mayor from Israel who incorporated into his trip to the United States a visit to Maharishi University of Management in Fairfield, Iowa, and to neighbouring Maharishi Vedic City.

Raja Kingsley explained that when he first became Raja of Invincible Israel, he 'had the idea to expose the leadership of all the major cities in Israel to the example of Heaven on Earth that is being lived in Maharishi Vedic City and in Fairfield, Iowa, and to see Maharishi's knowledge at work in the administration of a city.'

Letters went from Raja Bob Wynne, Mayor of Maharishi Vedic City and from Ed Malloy, Mayor of Fairfield, to the mayors of the largest cities in Israel.

When in Israel recently, Raja Kingsley met with six mayors who responded to this letter, and one of them who had already planned to visit the United States in August incorporated a visit to Iowa into his trip.

A couple from Israel hosted the mayor in Fairfield and organized a very wonderful experience for him and the three other members of his delegation. The delegation stayed at The Raj and toured all aspects of Maharishi University of Management, Fairfield, and Maharishi Vedic City. For the first time they experienced the Maharishi Vastu Effect, the Maharishi Effect, and the effect of Maharishi Vedic Pandits, and also dined on Maharishi Vedic organic vegetarian food.

The city from where the mayor came has a population of 90,000 and is the most rapidly growing city in Israel. About 60% of the population of the city is below the age of 20, so by implementing Consciousness-Based Education it would be possible to create peace not only for Israel, but for the entire area.

Even when first arriving and stepping out of the car, the mayor immediately noticed the peace and silence of Maharishi Vedic City. He was struck by the silence and said, 'We do not want to leave this place, we want to to stay here forever.' He also joked and said that they should send the city council members to relax there for a few days before they hold any important meeting! A beautiful deer also came by their window to welcome them.

The mayor of Fairfield welcomed the delegation and Raja Rogers Badgett, owner of The Raj, gave them an introduction to Maharishi Ayur-Veda. Raja Rogers organized for an Ayurvedic consultation for the mayor's deputy, who is head of the health department in the city in Israel.

The delegation met with the Vice President of Maharishi University of Management (M.U.M.) and the head of the Education Department at M.U.M., who both gave presentations on Consciousness-Based Education. Everyone who gave a presentation to the delegation received a gift from them; the delegation came with a suitcase of gifts for everyone.

A special dinner was held for the delegation in the evening with presentations on Maharishi Sthapatya Veda, Maharishi's Vedic Science, and the Center for Brain, Consciousness, and Cognition at Maharishi University of Management.
