South Korea sees increasing interest in the Transcendental Meditation Programme

Speaking on the 20 October Maharishi Global Family Chat, Raja Kingsley Brooks, Raja of South Korea for the Global Country of World Peace, described his recent very fruitful visit to the nation with Dr Leslie Brooks.

The first meeting Raja Kingsley attended was with the National Director of Finance and Planning for the Global Country, at the top of the tallest building in South Korea, from where there are 360-degree views of Seoul and the Han river that runs through the centre of the city.

The National Director of Communications organized a meeting for Raja Kingsley at Military Magazine, which is published and circulated each month to all the top military personnel in South Korea. The magazine is planning to do an article on Maharishi's Invincible Defence Technology.

This article came as a result of the visit of Dr Brian Rees and Dr David Leffler from the United States, who were invited to speak at a military conference set up by Seoul National University earlier this year. Based on this presentation, Military Magazine decided to do the article on Invincible Defence Technology.

Raja Kingsley and Dr Leslie Brooks participated in the global celebration of Victory Day on 9 October at the Seoul centre for Transcendental Meditation, with local practitioners of the Transcendental Meditation Programme.

They also met with a faculty member of one university, who specializes in brain physiology and is 'very interested to collaborate with Maharishi University of Management to understand all the brain research on Transcendental Meditation, so that he can speak with authority about the effectiveness and many benefits that come from total brain functioning,' said Raja Kingsley.

Raja Kingsley met with a company that produces documentaries for Korean television. He was interviewed for about two and a half hours about Maharishi's Unified Field technologies.

A meeting was held at Seoul University where they discussed a sociological experiment for Korea to establish a group of 855 Yogic Flyers to create invincibility and to unify North and South Korea.

Raja Kingsley met with a leading investor in Korea who is interested in helping to bring Maharishi Ayur-Veda Products to Korea.

Raja Kingsley also said that they were welcomed by the National Director of the Global Country of World Peace for Korea, and were very well taken care of throughout their stay. During his visit he also met with all sixteen Directors for the Global Country for South Korea, 'who are committed and very inspired to expand the teaching activities for Transcendental Meditation and to have a real structure for creating invincibility for South Korea,' he concluded.
