On Maharishi's Global Family Chat on 22 November, Raja Robert Wynne, Mayor of Maharishi Vedic City, Iowa, USA, reported on the growth of the Vedic Pandit campus, the Maharishi Peace Colony*, and the different types of Maharishi Sthapatya Veda modular construction now becoming available in Maharishi Vedic City.

'Modular construction', Raja Wynne continued, 'allows each person to choose which design they prefer today and move into their own Maharishi Sthapatya Veda home within six to eight weeks!'

All houses are constructed with non-toxic materials and come with heating, air conditioning, washers, dryers, and a water purification system. 'And now', Raja Wynne added, 'the houses will all have golden roofs. This is a requirement for all houses in Maharishi Vedic City.' A store selling only organic produce will be included within the Peace Colony. Raja Wynne said that ideally the residents will use electric cars and have easy access to all amenities.

Within four days of Raja Wynne's announcement, hundreds of enquiries were received from people wishing to move to Maharishi Vedic City. Low property taxes are an additional attractive feature of the city.

Raja Wynne expressed that, as the numbers practising Maharishi's Transcendental Meditation and Transcendental Meditation Sidhi Programme increases in each country and the country rises to enjoy invincibility, they will each have their own Maharishi Vedic City.
