18 December 2008
Speaking 16 December 2008 on Maharishi Global Family Chat, Raja Michael Dillbeck, Raja of Invincible Latvia for the Global Country of World Peace, reported the appointment of a new National Director of his domain, as well as other significant developments.
Several months ago, Dr Boris Yuriev was appointed National Director of Latvia for the Global Country of World Peace. 'Boris, as well as his wife Emelia, have provided a great foundation for all national activities concerning the programmes of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi,' said Raja Dillbeck. He added that Boris is an accomplished engineer and member of the Latvian Academy of Sciences. 'Several days ago, in fact, Boris received an award from the Latvia Patent Office, for the many patents he's obtained for water purifying technology.' Boris has also awakened great public interest in Yogic Flying within his country, through organizing demonstrations of the technique over the years.
In addition, a new Maharishi Invincibility Centre recently opened in Riga, the nation's capital. The centre has the support of proper orientation according to principles of Vedic architecture, Maharishi Sthapatya Veda, with a river to its east. Raja Dillbeck reported that Dr Boris and Dr Amelia Yuriev will be hosting Vedic experts at the centre in early January, who will offer instruction in Advanced Techniques of Maharishi's Transcendental Meditation Programme.
With several Latvian participants soon to complete Transcendental Meditation Teacher Training in Bulgaria, Raja Dillbeck looks forward to increasing numbers of people learning Transcendental Meditation in Latvia within the coming months.
