Holland, United States: Global Mother Divine Organization achievements in 2008

Over 75 ladies in the United States have taken leadership roles in the Global Mother Divine Organization across the nation, helping to bring to fruition the organization's laudable goals through its five foundations. Other achievements of the past year include Gandharva Veda concerts and vocal lessons, and new Vedic Spas in the US and Holland.

One of the Raj Rajeshwaris—Mothers of the World from the Sovereign Domain of Consciousness—presented this summary of achievements during Part II of a recent Advanced Seminar* of the Global Mother Divine Organization**.

United States
Over 75 lady Teachers of the Transcendental Meditation Programme have been pleased to join the Global Mother Divine Organization's Five Foundations and National Development Board, and many have become Regional Directors, the Raj Rajeshwari said. Many lady Transcendental Meditation Teachers are now working through the Global Mother Divine Organization, she added.

'At MERU, Holland last summer, the International Foundation for Total Knowledge Based Music received two visits from Shrimati Anita Roy, a highly revered Gandharva Veda vocalist and recording artist from India,' the Raj Rajeshwari said. 'During her visits Shrimati Roy [a practitioner of Maharishi's Transcendental Meditation] taped a series of lessons on Gandharva Veda, and also gave a wonderful evening concert to the Guru Purnima Assembly.

Spas in the US and Holland
Under the Foundation for Total Knowledge Based Health, spas offering Maharishi Spa treatments have opened in the US, and also in Holland.
