One million television viewers in Belgium watch Yogic Flying demonstration for world peace

Yogic Flyers have been uplifting the national consciousness of Belgium with growing numbers of participants in the coherence-creating programmes at the Maharishi Invincibility Centre in Brussels. Please also see Part I of this article.

One result has been major media coverage of the Transcendental Meditation Programme.

Recently, the Dutch-language broadcasting station in Belgium, Vlaamse Radio en Televisieomroep (VRT), contacted Dr Stijn Vandenbosch, the National Director of Invincible Belgium for the Global Country of World Peace, to record a special programme on Yogic Flying—an advanced practice of the Transcendental Meditation and Transcendental Meditation Sidhi Programme.

Having heard about the David Lynch Foundation for Consciousness-Based Education and World Peace, VRT was very interested in the unique approach to develop students' full capacity for creativity and intelligence through the Transcendental Meditation Technique. On 19 February a team from VRT came to the Maharishi Invincibility Centre to interview Dr Vandenbosch about the David Lynch Foundation, and to film a demonstration of Yogic Flying. Afterward, the interviewer said, 'I can hardly find words to express how impressed I am by this experience.'

Broadcast last month, the popular programme was seen by approximately one million viewers. This is the first time the Transcendental Meditation Programme has been featured on national television in Belgium, and the response has been very positive.

In other developments at the Maharishi Invincibility Centre, a health spa will be opening at the facility, offering treatments in Maharishi Ayur-Veda healthcare, the most ancient and complete system of natural medicine. Maharishi Ayur-Veda products are now available in the new shop at the Centre.

The Transcendental Meditation Technique and Maharishi Ayur-Veda were featured at a recent health fair in Brussels.
