Highlights of Maharaja Adhiraj Rajaraam's address in the Golden Dome: 'We are the Global Country of World Peace'

Maharaja Adhiraj Rajaraam, First Ruler of the Global Country of World Peace, visited the seat of his administration in North America in Maharishi Vedic City, USA on Friday 3 April, and gave a beautiful address to 1,200 faculty, students, community leaders, and Invincible America Assembly participants in the Maharishi Patanjali Golden Dome of Pure Knowledge at Maharishi University of Management.

Following a beautiful introduction by Dr Bevan Morris, Prime Minister of the Global Country of World Peace, Maharaja Adhiraj Rajaraam expressed his great joy to be in the gathering of the whole community in the Golden Dome.

He explained that he had been looking forward to being in the United States on his first major visit outside the International Capital of the Global Country of World Peace in MERU, Holland.

Maharaja wanted to give his support to the 'beautiful endeavour'—organized by Raja John Hagelin, Raja of Invincible America, in New York City that same weekend—the 'Change Begins Within' benefit concert for the David Lynch Foundation's initiative to teach one million children Transcendental Meditation. (A major press conference for the concert took place in New York on 3 April, the same day as Maharaja's address.)

He was especially interested in coming at this time when he learned that the Vedic celebration of Raam Navami was also this day, 3 April. 'Raam Navami is important for us,' Maharaja said, because Maharishi Mahesh Yogi had placed the Global Country of World Peace under the rulership of the tradition of the great Raam of Ayodhya—'because Raam is Brahm Paramarath Rupa—''Raam is Totality, wholeness'', and Maharishi's teaching and knowledge is Totality and wholeness.'

Speaking further about the supreme knowledge Maharishi bestowed upon the world, Maharaja Adhiraj Rajaraam said that Maharishi made available Total Knowledge in his Vedic Science 'in its total perfection, in its completeness'. He also pointed out that through the technology of today, we have many recordings, tapes, and books, 'and therefore, for all generations to come, we have Maharishi with us. We have him in his teachings, in his understanding of the totality of Natural Law available in Veda and the Vedic Literature , in the training that he gave us to be self-sufficient.'

Maharishi had always encouraged his leaders and Teachers of Transcendental Meditation to be self-sufficient, Maharaja said, to 'just take that simple technique (Transcendental Meditation and its advanced techniques, including Yogic Flying), and you are on the way, on the path to the highest possible enlightenment; and he brought this to the world through his teachers.'

Maharaja recounted that Maharishi had calculated how long it would take to teach the entire world to meditate—or even 1% of the world. 'It would take so many thousands of days, millions of hours. . . So he started to ''multiply himself'': he created the teachers and exponents of knowledge', all of whom represent the eternal Vedic Tradition of India.

Maharaja Adhiraj Rajaraam said that Transcendental Meditation is a simple, mechanical technique, but he emphasized the importance for those learning to have proper guidance in its correct practice, through the trained teachers who are representing the Vedic Tradition of knowledge. When individuals learn Transcendental Meditation, he explained, they begin to experience the benefits, and then they need more knowledge; and as they continue progressing to deeper levels of experience, they need further levels of knowledge. 'To reach the highest level of one's path to enlightenment requires guidance,' Maharaja said. This comes from the Vedic Tradition of knowledge, he said, given to everyone by Maharishi and structured by him, through the organization that he established in the world, through Maharishi's teachers and leaders at different levels of responsibility.

Maharaja explained that his role is to ensure that the administration of that knowledge through this global administrative structure is perfect, 'so that Maharishi's message is available in its purity'.

'That is the beauty of the eternal availability of Maharishi all the time for us', he said, through the organizational structures that Maharishi has created, and the knowledge that he has given, which is available in tapes and books, and especially in the teachers.

'Therefore it's very important for every one of us, to truly own the Global Country of World Peace. . . . In terms of our understanding of where is the Global Country, who is the Global Country—you are the Global Country, we are the Global Country of World Peace, we are Maharishi's Movement, everyone is Maharishi's Movenent,' Maharaja said. 'So every initiative, every thought, every decision, every possible creative intelligent thinking would be coming from the feeling, ''I am doing it—it is for me, for one's individual growth and enlightenment, it's for the world, it's for the Global Country of World Peace, it's for my Global Country of World Peace.'' '
