Heather Hartnett, Director of Marketing and Communication at the David Lynch Foundation, continued her presentation, describing the launch of DLF.TV and other exciting projects of the David Lynch Foundation that she is working on.

Ms Hartnett is a founding member of I am Universal, and an alumna (MBA, 2005) of Maharishi University of Management, Fairfield, Iowa, USA. Please see Part I and Part II of this series.

She was speaking a few days before the historic 4 April concert in New York, Change Begins Within—featuring Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr, and other celebrities—which was a benefit for the Foundation's programmes for at-risk youth. 'Last weekend was a milestone we've been working on for eight months,' Ms Hartnett said, '—the launch of DLF.TV, which celebrates consciousness, creativity, and bliss.'

In addition to the Daily David—short interviews with Dr Lynch on many subjects—the site features artists, musicians, and others, 'exploring all aspects of creativity'. Said Ms Hartnett, 'Fifty-eight top blogs have reported the launch of DLF.TV, including WIRED, USA Today, Huffington Post, and MSNBC. We've had overwhelming, positive response.'

'We're working with a top public relations firm, the same firm which was responsible for the social media campaign of President Obama,' she continued. 'This has been a great learning experience, applying the newest technologies of social networking that are used in the corporate, entertainment, and media world.' Speaking of the DLF.TV film producers and herself, who are all under age thirty, 'We're learning a lot from our mentor, George Verschoor,' an award-winning television director and producer.

Said Ms Hartnett, 'The young generation is seeing, and demonstrating, that we can have a positive influence. The power of youth is so incredible. People respect young energy and young minds like never before. Our goal is to reach anyone who is seeking something wonderful like Transcendental Meditation (TM), in a way they can understand and relate to.'
