From the remote Himalayas two groups of peace-creating experts are radiating a powerful influence of harmony and coherence for the world.

Dr Bevan Morris, Prime Minister of the Global Country of World Peace, visited these groups during his recent travels in India.

It was an hour and a half walk on foot up a steep path to reach the home of the first group, Dr Morris said.

Maharishi Mahesh Yogi had said this kind of location—where there are no roads, no communication—is ideal for these groups, so that they enjoy life in a wonderfully remote and private area and can 'live in that heavenly way', Dr Morris said.

Since all building supplies have to be carried up either by hand or by donkey, Dr Morris said he was struck by how beautifully constructed and comfortable the buildings were—with suites overlooking incredible expansive views, including, on clear days, the snow-capped peaks of the high Himalayas.

The group also enjoys delicious meals prepared from their own gardens.

'It's an amazingly serene and beautiful place', he commented, and the peace-creating experts—members of the Maharishi Purusha Programme* in both locations—are deeply Self-referral and full of heart.

The other group of Purusha has their home in a deep valley near an ancient forest. There are waterfalls everywhere and the rocks in the pools are golden colored, Dr Morris commented.

He was incredibly moved, he said, by the beautifully organized reception he received at both locations.

Speaking of his time with these two very special groups, Dr Morris said, 'It was an enormous privilege and honour to be able to visit them . . . and to be with them, and to have the feeling of their atmosphere, which is like being cloaked in sparkling silence—so beautiful the feeling that is there.'

These groups radiate 'such silence—such tenderness of silence' in their extended practice of the Transcendental Meditation Programme and its advanced techniques including Yogic Flying, he said.

Dr Morris commented on the 'power of their simplicity and sincerity' and how deeply devoted they are to their Purusha programme. 'Very impressive,' he said.

'It was like a huge gate into infinity . . . that was the nature of the place,' Dr Morris said.

In conclusion, Dr Morris expressed his joy and deep appreciation for these groups. 'We have in them such an intensely powerful basis in the reality of Purushottama, supreme Purusha, supreme silence, for our whole world . . . .'

* Maharishi designed the Maharishi Purusha Programme for men who wish to dedicate themselves fulltime to the most rapid pace of evolution and to creating world peace, through extended group practice of the Transcendental Meditation Sidhi Programme, and through their administration through silence, fulfilling the goals of the Global Country of World Peace in 192 countries of the world.
