Over 150 people from 70 countries recently completed a four-day International Maharishi Jyotish and Yagya Coordinators Training Conference in MERU, Holland. The comprehensive programme was designed to make this timely knowledge and technology of Maharishi's Vedic Science quickly available worldwide, so that individuals and nations can live the Vedic principle Heyam dukham anagatam—'Avert the danger that has not yet come.'

The Conference was held under the inspiration of Maharaja Adhiraj Rajaraam, First Ruler of the Global Country of World Peace, to present this invaluable knowledge in the context of the most supreme value of Total Knowledge. Participants were deeply honoured by the participation of Maharaja, who gave two historic lectures during the proceedings.

'One of the main principles emphasized in the course,' commented Dr Bevan Morris, Prime Minister of the Global Country of World Peace, 'was the knowledge that, although ''As you sow, so shall you reap'' is a universal Law of Nature, suffering can be avoided. Everyone in the world can truly live the Vedic principle of Heyam dukham anagatam—''Avert the danger that has not yet come.''

'Hardly anybody knows this,' the Prime Minister continued, 'or that the whole tradition of how to perform a Vedic Yagya in the most effective way has been revived in the world. This knowledge is an offering from Maharishi Mahesh Yogi from his Vedic Tradition, and Maharishi wanted everyone in the world to take advantage of it.

'The Vedic system of being able to command the future is actually a chapter of the Constitution of the Universe—it is structured in the Veda and Vedic Literature—and will be true thousands of years from now as it was true thousands of years before. This knowledge is always there, and is a very great science,' Dr Morris said.

'We are very fortunate to have Maharishi Jyotishis who are experts in predicting the trends of life. But with the Maharishi Jyotish and Yagya Programme you can not only know the future, you can do something about it and thereby take away any danger and uncertainty in life.'

The administration of the Conference was a special global collaborative effort involving many aspects of the Global Country of World Peace, including Ministers at the global level, Rajas and Raj Rajeshwaris, the International Jyotish and Yagya Office, and the Global Capital of Raam Raj at the Brahma-Sthan (geographical centre) of India.

Dr Morris added that the Conference had been extremely delightful to participate in, and that he had enjoyed every second of it. He said, 'It was like enjoying a feast of Total Knowledge from Maharishi.'

Global Good News will feature further articles with highlights of the International Maharishi Jyotish and Yagya Coordinators Training Conference, including more about Maharaja Adhiraj Rajaraam's addresses, in the coming days.
