Maharishi's programmes for government administration, health, invincibility expanding in Latin America

Several new developments in Latin America demonstrate the increasing expansion of the programmes of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi across the continent—including the launch of another Maharishi Tower of Invincibility, more new inquiries from mayors following the recent Latin American Summit of Mayors, and other steps of progress.

Raja Jose Luis Alvarez, Raja of Latin America for the Global Country of World Peace, presented this news in a recent Maharishi Global Family Chat.*

Raja Luis began by reporting the recent conclusion of the first Maharishi Ayur-Veda course for health practitioners in Latin America. The course, which was taught by Dr Walter Mölk, Deputy Minister of Health for the Global Country of World Peace, has resulted in heightened enthusiasm among the doctors who participated. 'This course will provide the basis for enlivening Maharishi Ayur-Veda on an increasing scale throughout the continent,' commented Raja Luis.

Dr Julio Pereyra, Mayor of Florencio Varela, Argentina and practitioner of the Transcendental Meditation Sidhi Programme, just launched the construction of a Maharishi Tower of Invincibility within his city, as well as several Maharishi Invincibility Schools. He expects significant progress to be made on the Tower by the end of 2009.

Since the Latin American Mayors' Summit, which took place 2-4 September 2009, many mayors from throughout the continent—who may not have attended the event—have expressed immediate interest in implementing Maharishi's programmes for ideal governmental administration. Also in the wake of the mayors' conference, Raja Luis and his team were invited to speak at an event held by a prominent member of society who has a great interest in education. 'We are seeing a great upsurge of interest in Maharishi's programmes resulting from the September summit,' remarked Raja Luis.

Concluding his presentation, he reflected on the 'connectivity' of all positive developments within Latin America. 'What we're seeing is a snowball effect, where no single success is isolated.'
