With the first level of approvals obtained, plans for a Maharishi Tower of Invincibility and a beautiful forest park are moving forward in MERU, Holland.
Leaders of the Global Country of World Peace, including Dr Paul Gelderloos, National Director of Invincible Holland, and Raja Willem Meijles, Raja of Invincible Holland, spoke about the progress of these initiatives.*
Maharishi Mahesh Yogi's request for Towers of Invincibility—lasting memorials of the knowledge he received from his Master, Guru Dev**—is coming to fruition, Raja Willem commented.
Dr Gelderloos reported that support for the Tower in MERU has come from all sides. Just after Maharishi made this request in January 2008, Raja Willem decided that there should be a Tower of Invincibility in MERU. Dr Eike Hartmann, Minister of Global Reconstruction for the Global Country, created a design according to Maharishi Vedic Architecture, an ideal location was selected, and financing for the Tower was offered from a generous well-wisher of peace and invincibility for the world.
Now initial approvals for the project have been granted. The support that the Tower is receiving is a sign of invincibility in Holland, Dr Gelderloos said.
Landscaping plans around the Tower include a beautiful forest park with walking paths, gardens, a Mandap,*** and a greenhouse for Maharishi Ayur-Veda herbs.
Raja Willem congratulated the 'go-getters' who have brought the initiative to this significant step toward completion. Reflecting on words of Maharishi, Raja Willem said, 'We just pick up something great to do, and do it—this is what our great team did.'
