National sovereignty and peace safeguarded through Invincibility group of Yogic Flyers: Historical look at Germany, 1978

Raja Emanuel Schiffgens continued his recent account* about dramatic events of December 1978 in Cold War Germany—when a coherence-creating course organized by Maharishi Mahesh Yogi neutralized the threat of nuclear war and created an atmosphere of peace, harmony, and bliss.

Shortly after participants arrived for the Centre Invincibility Course for the Survival of Germany, Raja Emanuel said, a heavy snow began to fall across Europe, piling drifts up to seven metres high. Air travel, rail lines, and other transportation came to a standstill. The Baltic Sea froze. 'It was so cold, the food delivery trucks for the course couldn't get through, and for a few days we had to live on beet soup,' he recalled, laughing. 'The feeling was just bubbling bliss of 1,500 people learning Yogic Flying. People didn't mind.' The course ended after a couple of weeks, the weather eased, and the course participants were able to return home.

Some years later, after the fall of the Berlin Wall, documentation of the East German plans of the Warsaw Pact were opened. It was revealed that an attack on Germany had been planned for Christmastime 1978. With the unexpected cold, Soviet submarines were locked in the freezing Baltic Sea, and armies were unable move. Instead of tanks attacking, there were tanks bringing food and medicine to communities cut off by the snow.

'Everyone who was there remembered what a dramatic and blissful time it was,' Raja Emanuel commented. 'However, no one realized how great the danger had been for Germany. Maharishi, in his vigilance, knew we had one technology to create coherence in the collective consciousness, which can ward off the enemy, and save the sovereignty of the nation.'

Scientific studies on numerous assemblies of Yogic Flyers through the past decades have demonstrated similar results—reversing negative trends and cooling trouble spots around the world.
