Kindling the light of Total Knowledge in African countries: Global Mother Divine Organization

Leaders of the Global Mother Divine Organization* (GMDO) continued their recent series of inspiring reports** from countries around the world, highlighting the past year's achievements as well as plans and resolutions for the coming year.

GMDO has had the joy of establishing the organization in countries where the Transcendental Meditation Programme has not been offered in the past, including several countries in Africa. For example:

In the West African country of Burkina Faso, the Global Mother Divine Organization organized the first Transcendental Meditation introductory lecture ever to be held in the country. This resulted in 20 people learning Transcendental Meditation, increasing the meditating population by nearly 800 per cent.

The GMDO National Director in Ghana—the first lady Transcendental Meditation Teacher there—taught the technique to all the ladies in a factory in Accra, as well as to all the ladies and girls in an after-school programme that has implemented Transcendental Meditation.

Ethiopia reports that 35 students from a secondary school learned Transcendental Meditation and are practising the technique together in the school. Over 100 students at the college level started the practice, and about 40 of those students have been accepted at Maharishi University of Management in the USA.

Global Good News will continue featuring the achievements, activities, and plans of the Global Mother Divine Organization in many countries in Latin America, Asia, Europe, and North America in the coming days. * 'Mother Divine' refers to the nourishing, evolutionary power of Natural Law lively within all of creation and within the silent consciousness of everyone. The Global Mother Divine Organization, established in December 2007, is the ladies' wing of the Global Country of World Peace for 192 countries of the world.

** In presentations on 13 January, during the continuing global 12 January celebrations in MERU, Holland; and on 30 January, during the monthly global Full Moon Celebration, Raj Rajeshwaris—Mothers of the World from the Sovereign Domain of Consciousness—featured many GMDO activities and achievements of 2009. Raj Rajeshwaris are Administrators of the Global Mother Divine Organization.
