The global attention of the Prime Minister of the Global Country of World Peace

Concluding his presentation to the global assembly on 3 March, Dr Christopher Crowell, Minister of Religion and Culture of the Global Country of World Peace, expressed great appreciation for the global leadership and tireless focus of Dr Bevan Morris, Prime Minister of the Global Country, in bringing the knowledge and programmes of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi to everyone in the world.

Dr Crowell recounted that in the early 1970s, he had met another Teacher of Transcendental Meditation who had learned the technique from Dr Morris. This Teacher had gone on to inspire many other people to learn the technique and gain its benefits.

Dr Crowell commented that as a result of this experience, he realized that 'it was possible to bring out Maharishi's knowledge not just through one's own activities, but through others' activities—that in teaching one person to transcend,* Dr Morris had really taught [many others] to transcend.

'Like that, every person one comes in contact with—one is influencing not just that one person, but every other person they are meeting and influencing.'

Dr Crowell said that this is very much what the Prime Minister is doing all the time. His inspiration for everyone in the world is like the sun radiating outwards, and it inspires everyone in Maharishi's worldwide organizations—all the Rajas and Raj Rajeshwaris, Ministers of the Global Country of World Peace, National Directors in each country, and all the local directors; every Teacher of Transcendental Meditation and all those practising the technique—and even 'those that have not yet started Maharishi's programmes of consciousness—his attention is on everyone.'

It is really a global phenomenon, Dr Crowell continued. Dr Morris is the instrument through which so much knowledge is now coming out into the world. 'It is very fortunate that we have Dr Morris in that position of great leadership. It gives great confidence and it gives great sense of invincibility to our world family.

'I feel that everyone of every culture, of every faith, of every background owes a great debt of gratitude and appreciation to our Prime Minister for his tireless focus, year after year, decade after decade in bringing out Maharishi's knowledge in its purity, in its true value; and doing everything to see that it is preserved in its purity throughout the millenia to come.'
