Latin America: Six countries reach required number of Yogic Flyers for national invincibility

Six countries in Latin America have now reached the number of Yogic Flyers needed to create invincibility for the nation through the Maharishi Effect of coherence in national consciousness. These countries are Bolivia, Peru, Colombia, Mexico, and Curacao; a sixth nation, Ecuador, also attained this status on 2 July.

Speaking at the annual celebration of Invincibility Day for Latin America on 2 July, Raja Jose Luis Alvarez, Raja of Latin America for the Global Country of World Peace, gave his perspective on these developments.

Raja Luis explained that in a very simple way, we teach Transcendental Meditation and people gain the beneficial results.

In the same way, he said, we very simply approach creating invincibility for a country by introducing Transcendental Meditation and Consciousness-Based Education into schools, leading the students, teachers, and parents on to become Yogic Flyers, to create coherence in the national consciousness, the basis of invincibility for the nation.

Raja Luis reported that the invincibility of Ecuador, a country in the middle of Latin America, is now being produced by groups of trainee security forces of the nation. This is the foresight of the security leaders, Raja Luis said, who see that through these groups practising the Transcendental Meditation Programme and Yogic Flying, they can improve the life of the people.

Three groups—two with 200 and one with 800, all practising Transcendental Meditation—are taking part; 217 recently became Yogic Flyers. With those already practising Yogic Flying, there will soon be 900 Yogic Flyers in the country. The required number is only 390, so 'we will soon have invincibility for the nation on a stable basis', Raja Luis said.

The Transcendental Meditation Programme has been introduced in a security training institution and within two months, 83% of those participating in the project reported a 50% improvement in their reaction to stress and in their sense of ease in fulfilling their duty. The security officers in training take this project of being a Prevention Wing for the nation very seriously, Raja Luis said.* 'They understand the principle of practising in groups and they take this very seriously.'
