Continuing importance of large groups of Yogic Flyers as world consciousness rises: Maharaja Adhiraj Rajaraam

Continuing his address to the global Guru Purnima celebration on 25 July, Maharaja Adhiraj Rajaraam, First Ruler of the Global Country of World Peace, commented on the many challenges the world is facing today.

'There is huge evolution, growth, and understanding,' Maharaja said, including growing emphasis on human rights, the environment, and healthy living. 'There is a consciousness of world reality that is arising,'

'At the same time, there is an expansion in communication and exchange of information,' Maharaja said. 'This is very beautiful, but it has an aspect that requires great attention, because there is a double-edged sword in the globalization process that the world is facing.'

There is growth in collective consciousness, and compared with earlier times when small tribes were fighting each other, 'now we have a world that is concerned about anything that happens here and there: something that is extreme, the whole world feels responsible for it,' Maharaja continued. 'The whole world comes together to solve it. That is a beautiful growth in awareness.'

Maharaja Adhiraj Rajaraam commented on the benefits of the 'information explosion' through the Internet and different aspects of exchange of information—the more variables you can take into consideration in behaviour and in decision making, 'the more correct you are in targeting a proper outcome, reaching a proper answer to your question—because you are aware of so many things.

'However, this is creating a situation that requires our action'—action based on the programmes and knowledge introduced into the world by Maharishi Mahesh Yogi—'in a big way,' Maharaja said.

He continued: 'I feel this is almost as important as the times when we had to face the experimentation in the finer fields of creation, in terms of going from the exploration of the physical world, to the quantum mechanical, to the atomic—reaching the ability to use the atomic energy—which, as we know, put the whole world in a situation where it could be completely destroyed with the availability of the atomic bombs, atomic power; and the great tensions between those who are holding these atomic weapons.'

Maharishi's intervention in the world has saved the world from that, Maharaja continued. 'It's time to remember the importance of the big groups' practising the Transcendental Meditation Programme, including Yogic Flying; the importance of how Maharishi created this softening effect in world consciousness 'and allowed this fear in the world to be removed—by enlivening the level of Nature [the Unified Field of Natural Law] that is more powerful than the atomic.'
