Maharishi Vedic Astrology for mothers and their families: Global Mother Divine Organization Congress

During the Global Mother Divine Organization's* recent Third International Congress in MERU, Holland—delegates from around the world enjoyed a rich series of presentations on Health.

In the afternoon session on Day 2 of the Congress, 20 July, the Foundation of Total Knowledge Based Health presented the theme, 'Perfect Health is Wholeness'. The final presentation was on 'Maharishi Vedic Astrology for the Perfect Health of Mothers and Their Families', given by Dr Ann Crowell, of the Global Ministry of Religion and Culture for the Global Country of World Peace.**

Dr Crowell began by giving an overview of the principles of the science of prediction and transformation found in the disciplines of Maharishi Jyotish and Maharishi Yagya (special Vedic performances), in the light of Maharishi Ayur-Veda health care. Through these two aspects of the Maharishi Vedic Astrology programme, she said, one can gain insight into the cosmic patterns that underlie all existence. Then, on this basis, 'we use this knowledge to create harmony in our lives, to establish and maintain perfect health for ourselves and our children, and to guide our world family to a brighter future of peace and progress'.

She continued with a review of Maharishi Vedic Astrology services available to support the goals of establishing balance and wholeness for the perfect health of mothers and their families. This included the steps of health evaluation from diagnosis and prognosis (Maharishi Vedic Astrology consultations), to prevention and treatment technologies (Maharishi Yagya Programme as well as Muhurta—auspicious times for beginning important activities).

Lastly, Dr Crowell spoke on the role of Maharishi Vedic Astrology for the promotion of bliss for mothers and their families. She explored its applications for the promotion of enlightenment at the crucial 'junction points'—significant events—in family life, by following the path of a mother preparing her daughter for her future as a wife and mother.

This included a comprehensive review of the special Vedic performances available through Maharishi Vedic Astrology for compatibility analysis; marriage Yagyas; family planning; pre- and post-natal Yagyas for mother and baby; Nam Karan service for naming the baby; early childhood development Muhurtas and Vedic performances; birth chart analysis for determining the child's strengths and tendencies in the fields of education, health, and recreation; and National Maharishi Yagyas for the protection of all children in our world family by generating waves of coherence, peace, and harmony.
