Construction of Maharishi Purusha Capital of the Western World moving forward quickly

A permanent home for members of the Maharishi Purusha Programme* in North America is under construction on 410 acres (166 hectares) of beautiful land in West Virginia, USA.

The goal is to complete seven buildings by December 2010, said Raja Robert LoPinto, a Raja of the Global Country of World Peace.**

He and other leaders are putting a great deal of attention on construction of the Purusha Capital in West Virginia. The first residential building for nine members of Purusha is complete, and two more should be completed this month.

All of the buildings are being designed and built according to Vastu principles of Vedic Architecture, Maharishi Sthapatya Veda. They are working with modular buildings constructed in a factory, so that each building can be raised quickly. Raja LoPinto also commented on the excellent quality of the buildings. With four times the usual insulation and triple-pane windows, they will be very quiet, energy-efficient homes.

The first seven buildings, each for nine Purusha, will accommodate 63 participants in comfort and dignity, said Raja LoPinto.

Raja LoPinto aims to use the experience he has gained in this initiative to help with other large-scale Vastu construction projects around the world.
