New centre in Fairfield, Iowa, USA supports programmes for peace, harmony, and progress in Russia

A new centre to support expansion of the programmes of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi in Russia has been established in Fairfield, Iowa, USA.

The centre opened in October, reported an Administrator of the Global Country of World Peace for Russia in his summary of the past year's achievements at the beginning of the new year.

Located in an office park in Fairfield, designed in accord with Vastu principles of Vedic architecture, the centre will create Russian translations of audio, video, and written materials relating to all of Maharishi's programmes for every area of society. Two very experienced translators will join the centre and work with resources from Maharishi University of Management.

Russian citizens wishing to join the Invincible America Assembly will enjoy support from the centre as well.

Those who attend the Assembly will bring added inspiration back to Russia for a proposed Maharishi Peace Colony* for 1,500 residents, the Administrator said.

Peace, harmony, and progress in Russia were also supported this year by six National Yagya** performances, the Administrator said.

The Administrator congratulated the strong group of practitioners and Teachers of the Transcendental Meditation Programme in Russia for their role in the rise of coherence in the nation, adding that many Meditators, Teachers, and Yogic Flyers gathered together in Moscow for the global 12th January celebration.
